directed to join the investigation and cooperate with the IO in the

investigation in the present case FIR other wise coercive steps will be

taken against applicant/accused. Copy of the order be given dasti to the

Statement of process server SI Shailendra Kumar, No. D225, Section 6, EOW, Mandir Marg, New Delhi. On SA

On 03.09.15 I was posted at Section 6, EOW, Mandir Marg, New Delhi. On that date, I went to the house of accused Girish Chopra S/o Gulshan Lal Chopra, R/o D3, Ansal Villa Satbari, Mehrauli, New Delhi – but the accused was not traced out at the aforesaid address as the premises was found locked. I enquired from the neighbours but no whereabouts of the accused were available. I also read the proclamation u/s 82 CrPC against the accused publicly in loud voice near his residence. As a result I pasted one copy of the process u/s 82 CrPC at the last known address of the accused as well as other pasted at the notice board of Court. I also got published proclamation u/s 82 CrPC against the accused persons in Hindi newspaper Hindustan, Delhi on 09.09.15 and in English newspaper The Times of India, Delhi on 09.09.15. My report in this regard is Ex.CW1/A which bears my signature at points A. My above report is correct.

SI Shailendra Kumar, IO of the case is present. His statement

recorded separately. In view of the statement of process server and his

report and also the fact that the publication u/s 82 CrPC was got

published in the Hindi newspaper Hindustan, Delhi on 09.09.15 and in

English newspaper The Times of India on 09.09.15, I am of the opinion

that accused Girish Chopra is intentionally avoiding the process of the

Court and the accused failed to put his appearance within the stipulated

time. Hence, he is declared proclaimed absconder. Accused be arrested and

produced in the Court as and when his whereabouts are known to the

State or any person inform the police about the whereabouts of the

accused. Copy of statement and order be given to the IO.
