This Product Line has been specifically designed for the Fire Fighting systems
according to the European Standard EN 12845 (fixed fire fighting systems
– automatic sprinkler systems – design, installation and maintenance).
Each Fire Set is fitted with Lowara pumps.

WHAT IS THE STANDARD EN12845?
The European Standard EN12845 has been approved by CEN (EuropeanCommittee for Standardization). CEN members are bound to comply with theCEN/CENELEC Internal regulations which stipulate the conditions for giving thisEuropean Standard the status of a national standard without any alteration.According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standardorganizations of the following Countries are bound to implement this EuropeanStandard:

This European Standard, shall be given the status of a national standard, eitherby publication of an identical text or by endorsement, and conflicting nationalstandards shall be withdrawn at the latest by September 2007.The European Standard EN12845 has been translated in Italian language andhas replaced the previous Standard UNI 9489 UNI 9490 (Fire Fighting equipment– Water supply for automatic fire fighting systems).
WHAT IS NEW?
This standard specifies requirements and givesrecommendations for the design, installationand maintenance of fixed fire sprinkler systemsin buildings and industrial plants. This standardincludes also particular requirements forsprinkler systems, requirements which arerequested for life protection.This European Standard is based on theexperience of good engineering rules fromseveral European Countries and establishesseveral safety guarantees. The StandardEN12845 is the first step towards an attempt ofEuropean harmonization.The Fire Set designed and assembled accordingto the European Standard EN12845 provides ahigher degree of reliability.
