Emergency Situation #1: A skinned elbow.The first things one should get are going to be;

gloves, alcohol prep pads, gauze, first aid antibiotic ointment, and an adhesive band aid.

Emergency Situation #2: A Splinter in the hand.First things one should do is wash hands. Sterilize needle or

tweezers by boiling for 10 minutes or heating tips in the flame; wipe off carbon with a sterile pad before use. Then, loosen skin around splinter with needle; use tweezers to remove splinter.

Finally, cover with the adhesive bandage, if necessary.

Emergency Situation #3: Treating a BurnThe first thing one should do when treating a burn is to

apply a cool wet cloth to the burn. Next blot gentle, apply burn ointment and apply a dry sterile pad if

necessary. Finally, wrap the burn with gauze.
