Medical Sea Pak’s First Aid By The Numbers® line includes the Day Pak, Excursion Pak, Coastal Cruising Pak and the Trans-Ocean Pak. These paks are intended for the avid sailor whose voyages tend to be extended.

Our Medical Sea Pak line has grown to include smaller marine kits for the Inland Weekend Boater. These kits are great for minor injuries such as bee stings, dock splinters, cuts and scrapes. The soft sided kits follow the same organizational methodology as our larger First Aid By The Numbers® line, separated into press-to-close, clear bags with supplies separated into modules. The plastic kits feature a moisture-proof cover gasket.

First Aid By The Numbers®

The equipment in every Medical Sea Pak® is organized into modules that are numbered and labeled by the types of injuries - Burns, Fractures, Cuts, etc. Each module contains the first aid supplies to treat that injury. Each version of the Medical Sea Pak® comes with a waterproof manual specifically written to correspond with the modules. If you are carrying an Excursion Pak and one of your crew sprains an ankle as the boat pitches in rough chop, you would remove Module #3, Sprains & Fractures, and would turn to Chapter 3, Sprains & Fractures in the manual. First Aid By The Numbers®, it’s fast, simple and very well organized.

First Aid By The Numbers®

Easily IdentifiedSupplies are laid out in clear, see-thru vinyl pouches making locating the contents quick and easy in an emergency situation.

Color-Coded Individual removable modules are color coded to match-up with their correspondinng chapter in the book. Green module has green fabric and lettering on identification label and chapter tab in the manual is also green.

NumberedEach module is numbered to correspond with its chapter in the manual. Chapter 3 in the manual discusses treatments for Sprains and Fractures and in Module 3 you will find supplies to aid in treatment of Sprains and Fractures.

The Ten Design Features of First Aid Paks

1. SUFFICIENT SUPPLIES:

Supplies and equipment are designed to meet the three “HOWS”.

2. STATE-OF-THE-ART:

Supplies and equipment have the latest improvements that other first aid kits do not have, such as

ICE TAPE® to replace crushed cold packs.

3. PROBLEM-ORIENTED FIRST AID SYSTEM:

The kit is divided into numbered modules, each designed to solve a specific first aid problem. As

an example, MODULE # 2 is for minor cuts. You pull out only the module you need to solve the

problem.

4. INTEGRATED MANUAL:

The easy-to-read manual is organized into chapters by first aid problem, each corresponding to the

identically numbered and color-coded MODULE. For example, MODULE # 2 = CHAPTER # 2.

5. EXPANDABLE:

Our first aid kits are not in tightly packed plastic boxes, and allow the user extra space for

additional supplies or equipment.

6. USER FRIENDLY:

Highly water resistant, most versions come with reflectors for emergency night identification. The

manuals are waterproof, and in large readable type. The outside bags are of soft rugged fabric,

while the tough plastic cases are designed for high-stress environments. Modular design aids even

the untrained or younger caregiver.

7. AUTHORITATIVE:

The manual is regularly edited by a team of specialists from a wide variety of medical fields,

including emergency medicine. The editor is a board-certified surgeon.

8. RE-INVENTORY SYSTEM:

Each FIRST AID PAK comes with a system to record supplies and equipment used. Replacement

of modules or contents is easy and available via www.firstaidpak.com.

9. PERSONAL PHARMACY MODULE:

In comprehensive kits, a separate module is provided for medications. The manuals have

information and recommendations for meds and a log for recording expiration dates, and what

meds the user adds to the kit.

10. LONG SHELF LIFE:
