Family Night at Christmas THIS Sunday, December 2nd,
6 PM in the Sanctuary A time to prepare our hearts for Christmas. All our choirs will sing as we celebrate this special time of year. You don’t want to miss this!
Toy Store Volunteer Opportunity!Every year the Toy Store provides toys for the children in our community who need it most! The parents are invited to come and “shop” for their child’s Christmas presents FREE OF CHARGE! Not only that, they are also given the good news of Salvation through Jesus Christ while they are here! If you would like to volunteer to help, volunteer sheets are now available at Connect Central, bulletin locations, and the church office. Volunteer days are December 11, 13, & 14.
Cookie Caper for Homebound Members
THIS Sunday, December 2nd, 2018The Life Applications class is once again doing their Cookie Caper ministry for our Homebound Members. Please bring homemade cookies to the Life Center Kitchen this Sunday December 2nd before Life Groups begin. Life Applications class will package the cookies and place them with the Homebound Christmas gifts right outside the church office.
Thank You!A big “Thank You” to Josh & Delana Turner for the big breakfast that you put out for the “Seniors” of our church on November 17th - also thanks to the “Helpers” that assisted the youth. It was delicious and enjoyed by all. It was a real treat and we appreciated it very much. Looking forward to it again.

Broughton Hospital has been caring for citizens with mental illnesses since 1875. They are in need of prayers, monetary funds and a variety of items for their patients. To donate money, send checks to; The Cheer Fund, Broughton Hospital Volunteer Services, 1000 South Sterling St., Morganton, NC, 28655. Wish list items can be dropped off or you can schedule a pick up with Stephanie McClure at 828-433-2141. Wish list items include: slippers, gloves, adult coloring books, wallets, game books, chap-stick and fleece throws. For a complete list contact the church office.

GA’s Lottie Moon Post Office Begins!The GA’s will be collecting Christmas Cards to deliver to Life Groups/Sunday School classes each Wednesday and Sunday through January 2nd. The cost for the GA’s to send your letter is $.25 or any donation. Please deposit your cards and donation in the blue mail box that is located right outside the church office.
Toy Store Dinner Theater Spring 2019
Miracle on the Mountain, a play by Bill Wilson, recounts the story of Crossnore School founder, Mary Martin Sloop. This production will be a fund raiser for the Toy Store. Rehearsals will start in January 2019.
