Worship Notes
We welcome Chaplain Wick Hubers of The Christian Home & Living Center as he leads us in worship this morning.
This morning’s offering is for Faith Promise—to support missionaries and mission organizations as designated by our church Council. This fund currently supports Brother Bob’s Outreach, Daryl and Mary Pfantz (Wycliffe Bible Translators), Scott Ritzema (Youth for Christ), The Union, Local Deaconal Outreach, Waupun Area Cadets, Waupun GEMS, and Pastor K. (the full name of this Faith Promise recipient has been omitted for security reasons)
This evening's service begins at 6:50 PM with an extended time of praise led by the Teen Praise Team. Be sure to arrive 10 minutes early to support these youth as they boldly profess their commitment to Christ through their active participation in church life.
This evening’s offering is for Crossroad Bible Institute as they reach people in prison everywhere and prepare them for re-entry with the truth of God's Word and the love of God's people! (The offering for Cadets that was originally scheduled for tonight will be held at a later date to coincide with the Cadet Sunday service.)
Our Family
Geoff Aalsma was in a snowmobile accident last Sunday. We give thanks to God that the accident wasn't worse—he is very sore but has no broken bones, and his lacerated liver is healing. All of the tests look good and he expected to be released from the hospital this past Thursday. Please remember him in your prayers as he recovers at George & Karen’s.
We praise God for the news that Dennis De Kok’s brain cancer was benign.
Sandy Greenfield underwent gall bladder surgery this past Thursday. Please uplift her in your prayers as she recovers at home.
Brother Bob has decided to remain in the Philippines for the duration of his life, partly due to the difficulty of getting Neen a Visa and partly due to his desire to minimize any interruption to the Philippine ministry. He currently tires more easily but is still able to work several hours a day writing lessons for the prison ministry.

Word of Thanks
“Thank you to those who supported us financially and/or in prayer during our mission trip to the Philippines. We saw God’s hand of provision and protection in many ways during our travels. It was inspiring to witness the awesome ways God is working through Brother Bob, Neen, and Angel to further His Kingdom. We look forward to sharing what we learned with the congregation in the near future.” – Jack & Marla and Gene & Toni
“Dear Friends at Waupun CRC: What a joy it was to be with you recently! Coming back to Waupun feels like going home! Wanda and I want to thank you again for your faithful support during this past year. God has really blessed our ministry this past year, and there are many new opportunities for ministry in the new year. Please pray for this ministry—especially the opportunity with the Reformed Church of Indonesia! May God bless the Waupun CRC in 2011. In Christ, Pastor K” (the full name of this Faith Promise recipient has been omitted for security reasons)

On the 2011 HIV and AIDS Tour to Malawi and Kenya you’ll experience firsthand what CRWRC is doing to stop the spread of AIDS, and connect with people, families, and communities who are eager to share their experiences with you. The result? You’ll discover hope—and be encouraged to take action on AIDS in your own community and around the world. This two-week journey will take you, accompanied by three CRWRC partner staff, to church services where congregants are tested for HIV, to village health clinics, to homes where CRWRC’s trained health assistants care for people living with AIDS and give respite to caregivers, and to communities where neighbors support neighbors with communitywide compassion. Find out for yourself the amazing ways that God is working in the lives of people living with AIDS in Africa. It will change your life.
