Once again, by the me you read this things may be completely different than they are now when I am wring this. Fortunately what I have to write isn’t very de- tailed because I don't have a lot of informaon to share. Last week, there were a set of guidelines from the State of Mis- souri on pracces churches should consider when reopening their facilies. The next morning, those guidelines were re- scinded and new guidelines were said to be coming soon. So far, the only thing I have heard is that churches are able to reopen aſter the stay at home orders expire on May 3, 2020, but we are expected to maintain six feet of separaon be- tween those in aendance. I am sll hoping a more detailed set of guidelines like the previous ones will come along and we can consider the best way to move forward when the me comes. For now, we plan to connue with the streaming only wor- ship on May 3, 2020. We will have further discussion to see if we will be ready to worship onsite for May 10, 2020. We may sll have construcon going on at that me, so it might be just as well to wait a lile longer. When we do return it will be different. I expect some distancing measures to be in place and we may restrict the number of people who aend at one me. We may trade weeks when we aend according to where our names fall in the alphabet or some other way of grouping people. We may have people sit in the fellow- ship hall or a different area where they can watch on one of the TVs. Communion may not be served. If it is, we will take precauons to reduce risks. Worship will likely be shorter than normal. All of this is speculaon for now. I wish I had more infor- maon for you, but as you know, we are in a very fluid situa- on. What makes sense one day doesn’t work the next. We will keep improvising for the me being. I hope you are well. May the peace of Christ be with you.
