KPS-1b Transiting Hot Jupiter

Host star and planet similarto the Sun and Jupiter but with orbital period of 1.7 days.

The discovery of KPS-1b inspired us to upgrade the camera and add multiple field surveying capability, which became the GPX survey.

GPX-1b was not detected by TESS auto transit detection algorithms

A bright star greatly diluted and effectively hid the GPX-1b transits, unless one knew exactly where to look.
