Jack and Edna Bellrose joined First ARP on April 6th after visiting for several

weeks in the Spring. Originally from Dover, Ohio, John H. Bellrose, Jr (Jack)

graduated from Fresno State and served in the US Air Force, National Guard

and the US Army. He is, by profession, a truck driver and enjoys basketball and

football. Edna was born in Ellsworth, Kansas and is a Hospice nurse. She has

one daughter and five grandchildren and enjoys cooking, painting, reading,

sewing, cake decorating and crafts in general. Jack and Edna married in

December 2012 and moved to Rock Hill in February 2013.

Their contact information is 1215 Brittany Ridge Place, Apt. 207 Rock Hill, SC

29732 803-554-8849 (Jack) and [email protected].

On April 6th, we also welcomed Terry Jane, “T.J.” Wilkerson. T.J comes to us

from Winston Salem and is married to Merritt Wilkerson. Their address is

P.O. Box 2595 Rock Hill, SC 29732 and their phone number is 803 324-4055.

First ARP Preschool sends a BIG thank you to all that made our fundraiser lunch a huge success!! We are so very grateful for all the friends of the preschool who helped prepare and clean up our meal. We are also very grateful for the incredibly generous donations we were given that will be used for student scholarships and classroom materials.

Enrollment is open for fall 2014 and we could use your help spreading the word. Please be sure to tell your friends, family, and neighbors about our school. We have openings in all classes, ages 12 months through 4 year old kindergarten. Summer programs are available as well. Brochures are available outside the preschool director's office or see Heather Robinson for more details.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT FOR THE RETIRE THE DEBT CAMPAIGN.

So far you have contributed $39,389.00 towards this debt.

Teacher Appreciation – Sunday, May 4th

So many have given their time and talents to shower our church family with blessings this year. The Christian Education Committee will host a “drop in” breakfast for all our teachers, leaders and volunteers on Sunday, May 4 from 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. in Robinson Hall.

Women’s Ministries would like to thank all of the volunteers who

helped with our yard sale on Saturday, April 26th. Whether you

donated items, helped sort, organize and price items or assisted on

the day of the sale, you were instrumental in making this sale a

success. We raised over $1700.00 for our missions program and for

creating some colorful banners for Robinson Hall.

Thank You!

Michele Harbin

Hi friends,

Here's the latest update.

Praise Items:

1. The Stover's relocated to a new home at 1177 Evergreen Circle. We

have a backyard and more room to show hospitality to our neighbors and

church family.

2. We had a great Easter service!

3. We're thankful for a new family that the Lord brought to us. They

relocated from Camp Lejune, NC. They have 3 wonderful

children. Mark and Stephanie are serving with SIM in Fort Mill in their

member care department.

4. Our daughter Mary Ellen is engaged! She and her fiance, Matt are

planning to be married at the end of August.

5. Our daughter Katelyn will be home for the summer. She will

graduate on May 3rd. Pray that the Lord will provide a job for her.

6. We're thankful for the men's basketball outreach that we have.

Pray that it will bear fruit.

Prayer Items for May:

1. Ask the Lord of the Harvest to raise up laborers for His harvest.

2. Pray for us as we plan and coordinate several backyard Bible clubs

that will be in a few neighborhoods in Fort Mill.

3. Pray as we continue to take the Gospel to those around us.

4. Pray for Zach Simmons and Paul Rankin as they finish up their

semesters in seminary. We're thankful that we have several gifted and

called men that can help carry the load of ministry.

Thanks so much for your support and for praying for us.
