Mission Statement
“It is our intent and purpose to provide students with educational as well as entertaining activities within the realm of psychology. We aim
to serve as a forum for students to discuss psychology, its related issues and how it affects student life. This organization also seeks to provide students with exposure and insight into the different areas of
psychology, volunteer opportunities, graduate programs and prospective employment opportunities.”

Membership dues are $20 for the Spring semester and are NON-REFUNDABLE
Dues are used for socials, the Fall & Spring Banquets, any food served during meetings, and for other events that we hold each year.
Applications are due by the end of our February 20nd meeting
PLEASE NOTE:
We cannot accept membership applications without the dues (and vice versa)
Membership applications and dues MUST BE HANDED DIRECTLY TO AN OFFICER

STOLES, CORDS & AWARDS
You have to earn a minimum of 25 points. These must be a combination of volunteer events and meetings – this is to encourage you guys to get involved!
You must attend at least 3 general meetings.
In addition to meeting this criteria, you must also be in your graduating semester in order to receive cords and stoles.
Psych Society Banquet(s) and meetings from other organizations will NOT count towards your point total.
Future events held after the Point Tracker sheets are due will not be counted towards your point total.
Important Note: Cords and stoles must be picked up by the assigned date or your regalia will be forfeited

You are invited to join us for a one-hour workshop designed to focus on how trauma can affect a person on a neurobiological level as well as in the behavioral sense. The goal is to familiarize participants with some of the
basics in how a traumatic event can affect you.
