THE BIG-BAD WOLF

Once Shayla’s mama joins church and marries a so-called deacon of the church, Shayla meets the Big-Bad Wolf - Deacon Mosely - who torments and terrorizes her with sexual abuse as well as physical and mental abuse.

KICKED OUT ON THE STREETS AT 15 & HOMELESSNESSShayla endures so much trauma and physical and mental pain until at times she finds herself knocked out cold on the floor too weak in the knees to endure any more. Unfortunately, she has to endure more…..Deacon Mosely kicks Shayla out at 15 years-of-age leaving her homeless. 

STREET LIFE – STREET GIRL.Shayla comes across all types of different kinds of characters such as a pimp trying to pimp her as well as a con trying to con her.

WHILE LOVE DON’T COST A THING……Shayla meets a gang-banging, big-time, drug dealing street hustler named – Gregory Quincy Jones – AKA – “GQ” who sweeps Shayla off her feet and she falls deeply and blindly in love with him.

GANGSTA DISCIPLE WIFEY.After starting a relationship with GQ, he introduces Shayla into Gang-banging and drug dealing. Eventually Shayla becomes what is known as – a Gangsta Disciple Wifey – and the only way Shayla can get out of the Gangstsa Disciples is by death itself.

…….LIES AND LULLABIES COST EVERYTHING

Shayla will do anything for GQ – lie, cheat, and steal but, will She kill for him? She finds herself pregnant at twenty years-of-age. Deep down inside, Shayla always knew GQ’s love was a lie and she asked herself: When the plan doesn’t pan out, what do you do? When the love is a lie, who do you run to? With my belly swollen to the toll of bells and when the guns start blazing late at night, who’s going down and who will be left standing?
