CALL to WORSHIP Rev. Brenda Wideman Pastor: People of God, who do you come to worship? People: We come to worship the one true God. Pastor: How will you worship? People: Not with words alone, but by living lives of justice and love. Pastor: Come, you who belong to God. Come, you who are foolish in the eyes of the world. People: Come and abide in God’s tent and in God’s heart, now and forever.

OPENING PRAYER Loving God, we come this morning seeking to abide in your presence. Open our minds to your spirit of wisdom, that we may know how to live as your people. Open our hearts to your spirit of truth, that we may love all your people with a love that speaks of justice, kindness, and radical grace. May this time of worship be authentic and pleasing to you.

You are invited to attend a reception to honor KEITH PRUEITT on his 90 Birthday TODAY, after the 10:45 service. Please come to the Parlor and wish Keith a Happy Birthday.

There will be a Celebration of Life reception honoring the life of William Douglas Potts, son of Jane and Bill Potts, this afternoon at 3:00pm in the Parlor. William recently passed away in Colorado, where a memorial service was held.

RELAX AND UNWIND YOGA Wednesdays at 11am in the Parlor - Kenneth and/or Ashdon Wilson will lead a weekly relax & unwind yoga class to deepen your connection with your body and the Holy Spirit within you and others! The stretches can easily be modified, making it open to all ability levels!

VERITAS ARUMC YOUTH CONFERENCE ~ 1,400 youth and youth leaders will come together for Veritas 2020 from February 28 to March 1 at the J Q Hammonds Center in Rogers to celebrate what it means to live a connected Christian life. Nationally-known speakers and musicians will headline this amazing experience, where young people will learn to encounter the Lord in new and deeper ways. If you would like to help sponsor one of our youth to attend this conference, please contact the office.

HELPING HANDS WORK DAY COMING UP: Saturday, February 15. If you’ve been looking for a Charity where you can give your time instead of just donating money, this is the place for you! It takes no special skills to work at the back dock accepting donations, just some muscle and determination. If you like the feel of money, try cashiering! If you like talking to people, be a bagger.
