FIRST-YEAR ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENT: All first-time, full-time students with fewer than 15 credit hours

are required to take either a Learning Community OR a First-Year Seminar during their first semester at KSU:

• KSU 1101 “Original” First-Year Seminar

• KSU 1111 Tomorrow’s World Today

• KSU 1121 Be the Change

• KSU 1200 Leadership

• KSU 2290 Special Topics: Challenging Assumptions

Teacher Education Admissions

• Admission to teacher education is separate from admission to KSU – see advisor!

• Cleared background check

• ≥ 2.75 GPA

• GA Pathways /Teacher Apprenticeship? - 3 hours AS credit for EDUC 2110
