Alaska!

The United States Government in 1867 bought the 49th state,!

twice the size of Texas, for two cents an acre from the Russian Empire, who feared that it could be seized by Britain if war were to break out. The territory officially

became part of the United States on January 3rd of 1959 under the Eisenhower Administration. If you have ever been to the great state of Alaska, then you would know that it is

literally like taking a step back in time. With just 1.2 persons per square mile you are truly in complete touch with the

good Lord’s work. Tremendous mountains with snow capped tips, astonishing rolling green valleys as far as the

eye can see, a plethora of the most startling plant life on the Earth, an astronomical wonder of breathtaking lights in the

sky that indicate you are far away from human intervention… The rivers wind their way throughout the

mystic grounds carrying large populations every summer of big, fat, healthy salmon who travel miles up river to spawn. The trout don’t know any better than to annihilate a poorly

drifted dry fly pattern or in most cases a mouse pattern. !There are a ton of Alaskan lodges and outfitters claiming to be the best, however, only a select few actually are. Here at the Fish Hawk we have been and sent past clients to these

select few amazing lodges. Some of our clients had the privilege of fishing waters that have never even been fished

before. All of them had more than one incredible story to tell.

top 100 best trout streams in the world by Trout Unlimited. The river sees very few anglers and is a

“fly-fishing only” stream, one of the Alaska originals. The lodge was founded after the Alaskan Department of Fish & Game discovered a massive

abundance of wild rainbow trout in the Copper River years ago while doing a state-wide survey

project. !The large rainbow trout were present in such great numbers, that it would have been a terrible mistake

not to monetize and preserve the area. Another cool feature of Rainbow River Lodge is the lake

that it looks over holds healthy numbers of aggressive northern pike. !

The lodge itself is a work of art and really brings out the full Alaskan fishing trip experience. At meal

time, you’ll be served excellent fresh Alaskan seafood as well as other delicious dishes while

sharing memories and holding conversations with new friends. !

The setting is very laid back and will recharge your batteries for a long time to come. !

Head over to Rainbow River Lodge to catch a rainbow trout of a lifetime and have other chances

The Bristol Bay area is a true gem not only for Alaska and the US, but for the entire world. !

great fishing this area has to offer. !

ArgentinaIn the year of 1519, explorer Juan Dìas de Solis discovered

modern day Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and the Southern Bolivian region. The Spaniards gained control of

the area and created a massive colony called the Viceroyalty of the Rio de la Plata. Not until the early 1800’s did Argentina finally claim their independence from Spain.

Today, Argentina is still fighting relations with Britain to gain control of vast territories that include the ocean as far

as Antarctica and the islands that surround them. !Anglers from around the world venture to Argentina to

experience the absolutely magnificent trout fishing in the southern region of the country. This area, known as

Patagonia, provides fly fishers with mind-boggling numbers of some of the most aggressive and beautifully colored

trout on Earth. Jurassic Lake, located on the southern tip of Argentina, puts out world record sized wild trout with an average weight of ten pounds. There is also places in the

Argentina to fish for the hard-fighting golden dorado as well as experience the best dove hunting in the world.!

The Fish Hawk is acquainted with the Patagonian region, sending clients to fish its mystical waters for over thirty

years. With our help, we can supply you with a stress-free, experience of a lifetime.

Andes DriftersAndes Drifters is one of our favorite places to send clients. Andes will personally customize a trip of a

stay in a comfortable lodge? No problema. Regardless of your skill level, they will make sure

that you leave with butterflies in your stomach and eager to plan your next trip back on your return

home. You could literally spend a month just floating two rivers in Patagonia fly-fishing for trout and you wouldn’t see every bit of scenery or cover all of the trout water available. There is so much to

experience and it begins with Andes Drifters. !A fully customizable trip is what makes Andes

Drifters so special; you get to do what you want to do and you’re not confined to a particular schedule. !

Oh, and you’ll get used to fish being measured in “kilos” by the end of your stay.

San Martin de los Andes Airport. During your week stay at the ranch, you will experience fly-fishing on several

different pristine rivers such as the Chimehuin, Caleufu, Collon Cura, Malleo, Alumine and Quilquihue. The lodge

only takes a limited number of bookings each year to preserve the great trout fishing in and around the lodge. !

The Chimehuin River runs through Patagonia River Ranch and is largely know as the greatest trout river for

large fish in Patagonia. You can fish the nearest access of the Chimehuin River twenty miles upstream from the

lodge and by the end of the day after a long float you’ll arrive right back at Patagonia River Ranch. !

kind of adventure.

BahamasYou might recognize the name Christopher Columbus

who made his first landing in the Bahamas in 1492. Almost two-hundred years later in the mid-1600s, the

first European settlement was established. Britain would gain control over the Bahamas for the next 255 years

until 1973 in which the Bahamas would become independent. Nassau serves as the capital of the

Bahamas and is the most populated city with 244,400 residents. The electric green and crystal clear, aqua blue

waters that surround the thirty inhabited Bahamian islands are chalked full of hungry bonefish. Although fly-fishing for bonefish is what the Bahamas is most-known for, anglers have chances at eerie permit and

tarpon too. !The Fish Hawk is extremely familiar with the Bahamas

and the waters that surround it. Count on us to send you to where the fish are every month of the year. We will get

you rigged and prepped for the most chances at the gray ghost possible. You name the place and most likely we have been there or have fished very close to it. We’ll

let you in on the little-known secrets…!

The lodge has access to a wide variety of very diverse fisheries. Not only can you catch sea run brown trout, but you’ll also get the chance to

focus in on brookies, steelhead, and rainbow trout! !Because these fish are sea run, they can be

extremely aggressive. Many times you can fish mouse patterns and see massive brown trout

absolutely unchain your fly. !Guests will be able to fish rivers that feed the Pacific

Ocean, lakes, and over thirty miles of creeks. This allows the lodge to rest a lot of prime fishing water

for weeks, thus making it an extremely low pressured area. !

The lodge itself features two log cabins designed for two guests each as well as recently new duplex that is made for four more guests. The lodge consists of the kitchen, dining room, and a fully stocked bar in

the lounge area. There is also a well stocked fly tying table for your enjoyment.!

If you have dreamed of catching a trout on meth, then Tierra del Fuego Lodge is right down your alley.

KamchatkaKamchatka is a peninsula located in northeastern Russia. It is out in the middle of nowhere and truly

serves as the land before time. This is the closest place you will get to fishing land that has literally been

untouched by humans. !Some compare Alaska to Kamchatka, but they consider it the “old Alaska,” what it was hundreds of years ago. If

you’re a steelhead junkie, then fly-fishing the Kamchatka Peninsula is a must experience trip before you die. Not only is the steelhead fishing unparalleled,

but the trout fishing is out of this world. !Kamchatka is a summer destination, as it can reach

world record lows in the winter. You will have the opportunity to fish in areas only seen by a handful of human eyes in its lifetime. The amount of fish you will

get hooked on is absolutely incredible, and the Russian guides insist on a shot of vodka after every fish to

celebrate— do not try to keep up with them!
