Through the collaboration of the Ohio Division of Wildlife, Ohio Environmen-
tal Protection Agency, and the University of Toledo we have been sampling the shore-
line fish community from Toledo to Cleveland to investigate the habitat preferences of
fish species and to develop long-term monitoring program. With this program we will
be able to monitor the changes in the fish community in a continuously changing lake.
