The  sun  is  out  and  the  fish  are  bi4ng.

All  over  the  northeast,  anglers  are  dus4ng  off  their  equipment  and  ge>ng  back  onto  the  water.

Page 4: Fishing in New Hampshire

It  is  no  different  in  New  Hampshire,  where  sportsmen  are  looking  to  North  Country  to  find  the  best  fishing  in  the  Granite  State.

Page 5: Fishing in New Hampshire

Encompassing  the  Androscoggin  River,  Forest  Lake,  the  Connec4cut  RIver  and  ponds,  creeks  and  streams  unnumbered,  the  North  Country  is  the  premier  area  for  anglers  looking

for  a  challenge.

Page 6: Fishing in New Hampshire

All  over  the  area,  there  are  sweet  spots,  honey  holes  and  family

secrets  –  all  teeming  with  a  variety  of  spirited  fish.

Perch,  trout,  northern  pike,  largemouth  and  smallmouth  bass,  and  the  coveted  landlocked  salmon  all  call  New  Hampshirian  waters

home.

Now,  before  you  head  out  and  start  we>ng  your  lines,  remember  to

grab  your  fishing  license.

Making  sure  you  have  all  the  proper  paperwork  is  a  necessary  step  to  having  a  great  4me  out  in  the  wild.

But  if  you  are  planning  a  trip  with  some  friends  or  your  family,  ge>ng  everybody  licensed  for  a  single  day  of  fishing  can  be  expensive  and

annoying.

Page 12: Fishing in New Hampshire

However,  the  New  Hampshire  Fish  and  Game  Department  is  giving

everybody  a  chance  to  enjoy  a  day  of  free  fishing.

Page 13: Fishing in New Hampshire

The  first  Saturday  in  June  is  known  as  Free  Fishing  Day.

Page 14: Fishing in New Hampshire

On  June  1,  everyone  can  fish  the  beau4ful  New  Hampshire  waters  without  a  license,  with  only  a  few

limita4ons.

Page 15: Fishing in New Hampshire

Season  dates,  bag  limits  and  any  other  standard  fishing  regula4ons

apply  and  there  are  a  few  restric4ons  on  where  Atlan4c

salmon  can  be  pulled.

Page 16: Fishing in New Hampshire

Besides  those  reasonable  limita4ons,  this  is  a  great

opportunity  to  get  friends  and  family  out  there.

Page 17: Fishing in New Hampshire

This  special  day  also  applies  to  nonresidents  of  New  Hampshire,  so  if  you  are  interested  in  checking  out  New  Hampshire’s  North  Country

fishing  hot  spots,  June  1st  in  the  day  to  do  so.

Page 18: Fishing in New Hampshire

It  is  the  state’s  hope  that  having  a  day  of  free  fishing  will  get  you  ‘hooked’  and  you  can  then  get  a  license  either  from  the  web  or  at  any  other  the  local  license  agents

across  the  state.

Happy  fishing!
