Objectives




The Asset Group window allows you to define asset groups for thepurpose of setting the rules of depreciation mode and methods.

Asset group normally include items such as Land, Buildings, Light

Motor Vehicles, Heavy Vehicles, Furniture, Office Equipments,

Fixtures & Fittings, Plant & Machinery, etc.

Click on the Assets parent node &

find Asset Group menu item. By

clicking on Asset Group menu

item, Asset Group Window opens

The Asset Type window allows you to define asset types for thepurpose of grouping on reports, analysis, etc.

Asset types normally include items such as Computers, Printers,

Tables, Light Tools, Heavy Tools, Saloon Cars, Trucks, Loaders,

Cranes, etc.

The Asset window allows you to define assets of various types andgroups for the purpose of capitalizing and integrating with various

modules.

Asset window allow the user to define assets which is purchased or

acquired. Assets entered in this window requires µComplete¶ process togenerate capitalize entry and capturing further transactions like

depreciation, transfer, disposal, etc.

On processing (Complete) of asset transaction creates financial entries.

Asset transactions like Capitalize, Depreciation & Disposal has

postings as per the accounting rules set in accounting tab.

Assets are available to refer in GL Transactions like Purchase Invoice,

Cash Journal, etc. This helps to analyze asset wise expenses.

Asset depreciation process enables the user to create/depreciateassets as per the depreciation rule set for the asset or asset group.

Asset depreciation process creates transactions for each asset

selected as process parameter.

The processed data will be automatically completed by the system and

submitted for posting as per the posting setup.

Depreciation process runs for µAs of date¶ basis and generates single

transaction per asset for last depreciation date to µAs of date¶ selected

on the process. The transaction date will be parameter transaction datefor the process.

The Asset Transaction window allows you to find posted transactionsand review details.

The find feature allow the user to search by document number, asset,

date, amount, etc.

This window enables the user, find asset related information quickly.

Asset transaction window helps the user to view all

transaction processed and posted to the asset module.

The same transaction is filtered and shown along with

each asset. Detailed fields and columns are given along

with asset module

The Asset Info Window helps you to find assets from the systembased on the search criteria given. This is identified as business

intelligence quick view and placed in view section of Dbrix menu.

After finding the asset, user can select an asset and view the complete

information about by clicking the zoom button.

The history button shows transaction details and expense details about

the selected asset.

The asset info window lets user to print, save the search results.
