Installation Requirements

Connectivity

Internet connection: Either password protected 2,4 GHz / 5 GHz Wi-Fi network orEthernet is required.

Ethernet is a factory added option. It is not possible to use Wi-Fi asconnection method after the shower has been prepared for Ethernet.

Electrical Supply

Residual circuit breaker: One breaker per Shower Core

Power supply: One Phase, 240VAC / 50 Hz / 16A

Mains supply wire: Min. 2.5 mm2 (rated for 16A circuit)

Plumbing / Water

Incoming water supply connections: Separate hot and cold, 2x female G 1/2" swivel nut

Incoming cold water temp. (min-max): 4-25°C

Incoming hot water temp. (min-max): 50-65°C

Incoming water pressure (min-max): 2-10 bar

The supply pressure is the fundamental requirement for the showerflow:

• 2 bar: 7.5 litres/min• 3 bar: 9.5 litres/min• 4 bar: 11 litres/min

Recommended water supply flow: 9 litres/minute per inlet hot and cold

Water hardness (min-max): Minimum: 3°dH-10°dH

Recommended: 6°dH-10°dH (or a total hardness of 110-180mgCaCO3/litre)

Water iron content: <0,3mg/litre

Orbital Shower Coreplaced in a separateroom. Any potentialspill water from OrbitalShower Core needs tohave access to adrain.

When installing the Basic model, the Orbital Shower Core isinstalled outside the shower area. The limitation in distance, ensuring full system functionality, is maximum 3000 mm. Thekit only allows for mounting on a wall.

Any bends in the sleeves and conduits going to and fromOrbital Shower Core needs to be achieved by using 45°angles. For example, to achieve a 90° bend, two pcs of 45°bends needs to be used. No more than six 45° bends(maximum three 90° bends) in total can be used wheninstalling the Orbital Shower. These limitations applies toboth horizontal and vertical bends.

B. The piping between the Orbital Shower Core and theDrain Unit has to be built with a consistent slope towards theDrain Unit. Orbital Shower Core must be positioned minimum100 mm and maximum 350 mm above the top of the DrainUnit Frame.

C. Total distance between the Control Dial and OrbitalShower Core cannot exceed 3000 mm.

D. The piping between the Orbital Shower Core, any ShowerHeads and the Drain Unit has to be built with a consistentslope towards the Drain Unit. Total distance between theOrbital Shower Core and the Drain Unit cannot exceed 3000mm.

Prepare 3rd Party Shower HeadAt this stage, consider the necessary preparations forinstalling the 3rd Party Shower Head, according to localregulations.

Requirements for installing 3rd Party Diverters, ShowerHeads and Hand Showers (applies to installation with OrbitalShower):

• When using a 3rd Party Diverter, Shower Head or HandShower, it is recommended to choose products with lowcounter pressure in order to optimise the Orbital Showerperformance. Should the combined counter pressure fromthe Diverter and Shower Head / Hand Shower exceed 1bar at 10 L/min, it will affect the lifespan of the FilterCapsule negatively. A combined counter pressureexceeding 1,5 bar at 10 L/min is not recommended.

• Any installed Shower Heads / Hand Showers should allowfor a water flow of min. 9 L/min.

• It is recommended to install Diverters designed for wall-integration.
