Thanks for your selection of FL-2000 series Fleets vehicle tracking Terminal from C2STEK Please read this user’s guide carefully and make sure you will use the original accessories provided by C2STEK in avoid of any unexpected damage for this product.

Please kindly be attention that this user guide may be changed at any time without prior notification.

2. PRODUCT INTRODUCTION:

2.1 BRIEF DESCRIPTION

FL-2000 series AVL devices are well-defined GPS/GPRS/SMS tracking device for fleet management Application. It featured with small size, easy installation and satisfies most features expectations from solution integrators. It equipped with 50Channel Industrial High sensitivity GPS module and State-of-art GSM/GPRS module, harsh-weather and shock resistant PCB design. It has outstanding multiple inputs and outputs: Door Lock/Unlock, Cut Relay, taxi Odometer , fuels level sensor, One-Key call help, Navigator Dispatch display integrated functions for optional.

FL-2000 series devices are designed as universal application for any vehicles with power system 9-36V DC.

4. INSTALLATIONS:

4.1 INSERT SIMCARD

1) Using screwdriver to SIM card Slot spring up button 2) Slide out the drawer 3) Put the SIM card to the drawer 4) Slid back the drawer with SIM card to slot. Note: - FL-2000 tracker is using only in GSM network. - The SIM card should be enabled with GPRS service, and with no Pin code for access. - The SIM card should be with Incoming call Number Show function enabled - If you want to track by SMS, then the SIM card should be SMS service enabled too. 4.2 INSTALL POWER AND I/O CABLE 4.2.1 POWER/GND 1) Plug the 20-Pins Molex Connector into the back of the device, using the outlet marked as L2 2) The GPS tracker has a fuse holder already connected to the power cable provided. Just connect the Red/White and Black/White Wires to the Vehicle's Power supply of 12V or 24V. Please connect: - The red/white wire to the positive (+) pole - The black/white wire to the Negative (-) pole

Note: The power source must be permanent. The GPS device must be powered even when the vehicle's engine is turned off. This is not dangerous for the vehicle's security, given the device's very low absorption. The GPS tracker has an internal backup battery that, if

connected to NON PERMANENT power supply (example: cigarette lighter), would be damaged in a few months.

Pin5/L1 N/A Positive Trigger - Ignition Detect To obtain the maximum level of movements notification, to control and report the ENGINE USAGE HOURS, use the Speaking system properly and Fuel consumption reports, it's strongly recommended to connect the tracker to the ignition key, within the yellow/White(Pin18) wire available out of the Molex Connector. You should connect this yellow/White wire to a power source that's equal or greater to 8 Volts with engine started, less than 1.5 Volts with engine stopped.

4.6 INSTALL GSM/GPS ANTENNA

4.6.1 INSTALL GSM ANTENNA The GSM antenna should be installed in an optimum location, to intercept the cellular signals, arriving at slightly above zero degrees from the horizon. Signals will typically penetrate through nonmetal material such as glass, fiberglass, and aluminum. Please refer to the illustrations below:

4.6.2 INSTALL GPS ANTENNA To ensure best reception, install the GPS antenna in a location that provides a clear sky view (Greater than a 90 degree angle view of the sky. Please refer to the following illustration:

4.7 INSTALL MICROPHONE AND SPEAKER Please follow below diagram to install the Microphone and Speaker. It will enable the two way audio conversation by hands freely.

5. UNIT CONFIGURATION

5.1 CONFIGURATION KNOWLEDGE 5.1.1 What’s necessary parameter to enable device working?

- Device ID

This device ID could be any number with you wants, and you need to register this ID number into the server database by Data Manager. It’s the only recognition code can be identified by the Server. Normally we use the Device SIM No. as the device recognition code.

- IP/Port It's for your Server GPRS gateway IP addressed and Port no, which you used for listen vehicle units incoming data in TCP/IP communication

- APN: APN is GPRS Access Point Name from your GSM Network Provider. You should get this name from your GSM Service Provider.

- Server SMS Service NO.: It’s Server SMS service NO. Which use as to receiving SMS data from mobile device. You can treat it as a mobile phone attached to a computer COM port for SMS receiving and sending.

5.2 CONFIGURE DEVICE BY PC VIRTUAL HANDSET SOFTWARE

5.2.1 CONNECT FL-2000G TO PC SERIAL PORT:
