FLEPPC CONFERENCE Bridging the Gap: Integrating Science and Invasive Plant Management REGISTER NOW! EARLY BIRD RATES UNTIL MARCH 15 The Florida Exotic Pest Plant Council invites all natural resource professionals, invasive plant researchers, students, and others to register for the 2019 FLEPPC Annual Conference March 27-29 at The Shores Resort and Spa, Daytona Beach Shores, Florida. This year’s theme, Bridging the Gap: Integrating Science and Invasive Plant Management, features our keynote speaker Carrie Brown-Lima, Director of the New York Invasive Species Research Institute (http://www.nyisri.org), a plenary session, and a panel discussion titled, The Landscape of Invasive Species Science and Management in Florida. The agenda will feature research and management presentations, an herbicide workshop, vendor product displays, and fieldtrips featuring local plant ID and natural areas. CEUs will be offered in several categories and FLEPPC will host a graduate student competition with cash prizes for best oral presentation and best poster presentation. A welcome social and oceanside banquet round out the conference. SPECIAL NOTE: The FLEPPC Board Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 26 from 1 PM - 4 PM in the Sandpiper Room. The CISMA session will be held on the morning of March 27th 9 AM - NOON in Bill France A. Register HERE!
