MONDAY 20th SEPTEMBER 2021SALE commences at 10.30am in Hall 1Older & Shearling Rams & Ram LambsAll from Maedi Visna Accredited Flocks
ORDER OF SALE (as agreed and carried out by NSA)The 2021 vendors brought forward from 2019 will be divided into threesections. The last third will be moved to the front, the middle sectionto the end & the first 1/3 will move to the middle where they will besubject to a ballot. The other two sections will remain in their previousyear’s order. With this system vendors will only change order everythird year & with balloting the middle section no-one should findthemselves unfairly balloted. New vendors will be placed at thebeginning & end of the ring, as happened previously.
INSPECTION - NSA INSPECTION TEAMSATURDAY 18th SEPTEMBER - Sheep arriving on Saturday may be penned.
SUNDAY 19th SEPTEMBERJUDGING OF SHOW CLASSES will start at 2.30pm promptly. JUDGING OF PEN CLASSES 1 - 3 will commence during the individualjudging of Classes 1 - 6.
INSPECTION PROCEDUREVendors must remove their vehicle away from the unloading point as soon astheir sheep have been unloaded.

General Information & Sale NotesIDENTIFICATION All sheep must be identified with their individual BCSSidentification in accordance with current BCSS rules.
INSPECTION All sheep will be inspected by the NSA Team of Inspectors beforebeing allowed forward for sale. All sheep must have been paint braded withtheir lot number prior to arrival at the sale. If you are presenting ramsuntrimmed, please slip a small patch for the lot number.
BIOSECURITY Intending purchasers are requested to have livestock vehiclescleansed and disinfected.
LICENCES Vendors are responsible for completing the Standard MovementDocument prior to the sale. THE HOLDING NUMBER FOR THE NSA SALE AREAIS 52 216 8003
MAEDI VISNA All vendors must ensure that a fully completed MV certificateaccompanies their sheep to the sale.
CONDITIONS OF SALE All sheep will be sold subject to the Conditions of Saleof the British Charollais Sheep Society and to the Auctioneer's GeneralConditions of Sale, which are available in the Auctioneer's office. All sheep willbe sold in guineas.
PEDIGREE CERTIFICATES Pedigree certificates relating to the sale will beavailable from the Society at the conclusion of the sale. See note below withregard to Notified Males.
SCRAPIE GENOTYPE CERTIFICATES Vendors at the sale are required to beresponsible for the transfer of the genotype certificate to the new owner. TheScrapie Genotype results listed in this catalogue are guaranteed to be correct bythe person whose name appears as the Vendor. Whilst the Society will make allpossible effort to provide purchasers with the correct information, they can in noway be held responsible for any error or omission of information.
PEDIGREE STATUS FOR MALES Would purchasers please note that there aretwo different status of registration for Charollais rams, Full Pedigree and BirthNotified. All Full Pedigree rams are marked as such in the catalogue and havebeen upgraded by the breeder, all other rams have Notified status only. Nopedigree certificates are issued for Notified rams and these rams are not eligiblefor use within a pedigree flock until they are upgraded to Full Pedigree status. IfFull Pedigree status is required then a fee of £20.00 plus VAT is payable to theSociety. All females are Full Pedigree registered and the certificates will beavailable from the auctioneers.
