The smart panel is a simple and easy to use touch screen that provides an intuitive and familiar

interface – just like a mobile device.

Access the wide-ranging capabilities of Ricoh Flex from your MFD touch

screen. This simple, easy-to-use interface displays large graphical buttons to

identify each of the apps offered. Operators log in with the same username

and password used on their PC or mobile device. Scanning settings,

including colour, duplex and file type, can be selected with one touch.

Easily access 15 cloud connected applications providing a range of document management services.

Connect with popular cloud-based applications such as Dropbox, Box.net,

Evernote®, Google Drive™, DocumentMall® and many more. All available via

Flex Integrated Cloud. This means your organisation has no infrastructure

costs associated with these technologies and you can simply click on one of

the large smart panel icons to communicate with them – instantly.

OCR & file conversion means powerful optical character recognition that converts documents into

editable files for real information mobility.

Flex enables you to work the way you want with enterprise class OCR to

automate processes, minimise manual tasks and human errors, enable file

location and retrieval in moments and access to critical processes with a

single press. Integration with third-party document management systems

streamlines workflow and improves productivity for your entire organisation.

Fully encrypted data transfer with all data transferred between the MFD and

Flex cloud encrypted using 128 bit SSL.

Housed within SAS 70/SSAE 16 compliant Data Centres with cutting-edge

security measures remain in place, and we maintain all security patches and

No IT Services Required

Because there is no need for servers, system integration, maintenance or

software updates, onsite IT services are minimal. That’s why you can be up

and running quickly – adding scanning, mobile printing and

other improvements to your document workflow.

Connectors to cloud-based applications and capabilities are all

hosted by Ricoh, so your organisation has no infrastructure costs

associated with these technologies. Subscription fees may

apply for any third-party cloud providers you select.

Mobile workers really benefit from Flex, with access to the same functionality

from any supported mobile device for fast, consistent performance

every time. Use our free Smart Device apps (available separately) to connect

to your MFD automatically by simply scanning the QR code with your

iPhone or iPad on the operation panel, or just by simply touching the

Near Field Communication (NFC) tag with specific Android devices.

You can then copy, print, scan and fax.
