FlexClub currently operates a R40m fleet portfolio of 320 vehicles on the Uber platform in both South Africa and Mexico. FlexClub will manage the vehicle fleet, drivers and ensure all vehicles are maintained on a regular basis. FlexClub manages all the costs relating to the vehicles and provides a fixed return for investors. The vehicles are all insured in the event of a loss of the asset.

Michael Roffey Executive Director BCom CA(SA)
Michael pioneered cellular phone micro-lending and device financing in South Africa. As a Fintech and Telecommunications leader, his products and services are today available in over 15 countries across three continents. Together with partners, he co-founded the largest independent cellular retail credit business and cellular handset finance business in South Africa. These businesses were sold to a JSE-listed company in 2013 and 2017 respectively. He has private equity interests in many sectors, including commercial property, telecoms, fintech, technology and financial services.

Mark is a co-founder of Airvantage, a Fintech provider of mobile financial and value-added services for mobile network operators. In 2009, he founded Icon SA in partnership with Icon UK. Icon SA was appointed by FIFA to design, produce and install the signage and branding for the FIFA Confederation Cup 2009 and the FIFA World Cup 2010. He was previously the operations director of Wideopen Platform, the leader in large format outdoor advertising in South Africa which he sold to Primedia in 2006. Prior to this Mark was involved in Corporate Finance and Private Equity with the Buffet Investment Group.

Gadi co-founded Optomise, one of the largest S12J Venture Capital Companies in South Africa. To date Optomise has facilitated the creation of over 631 permanent jobs in South Africa. Gadi has raised and deployed over R340 million of investor capital into more than 25 venture capital investments. Gadi is one of the leading experts in S12J in South Africa. He has developed unique intellectual property in the S12J space which has received private binding rulings from SARS. A business development expert, Gadi is part of Optomise’s investment, strategic and product development committees.

Namir is the CEO of Willis Burton Capital Partners, an Investments & Advisory business established in 2004. The business focuses on M&A, Private Equity, Commercial Real Estate and Venture Capital. In 2014 Namir co-founded Sail Group, a global Chrome Mining & Commodity Trader based in Singapore with assets listed on the JSE & the Stock Exchange of Mauritius SEM. In 2009 Namir co-founded Storage Genie, a self-storage business with over 2,500 storage units across South Africa. This portfolio has since been sold to a JSE listed REIT. Prior to this Namir was an Investment Banker with Investec Bank.
