    Belly Adjustments

    1. Red: A "Red" call is made by the play side T & G to telleach other that they plan to block the play by the play bookrules.

    2. Blue: The "8" in Blue stands for Base. Blue is a callbetween the play side T and G that changes their blockingassignment to block all defensive linemen base. This calldoes not include the LB's. When there is a "Blue" call to theTE side the TE will block first man to the outside.

    Coaching Values

Shown below are some of the standards we try to model in our program.I hope that they may stimulate some thoughts for you, and might helpyou as a primary role model for the young people you coach .. Have passion for what you do, and don't be afraid to show it Become a student of the game, and be proud of it Bring a sincere work ethic to what you do." Have fun, and enjoy the people you work with. Be loyal to your peers and the young people you coacn. Be honest - Don't cheat your professional responsibilities Don't cheat your family

Don't cheat your players or your fellow coaches Don't ever compromise your integrity, or your team's lnteqrlty. Be willing to do what is right, even i f it doesn't feel good" Be an active listener. Believe in, and teach the TEAM CONCEPT, Be committed, and preach commitment to your players Always bring a positive attitude to whatever you do. If you want your players to be good sports, be one yourself. Have class, whether you win or lose" Find as many ways as possible to show your players and fellow

coaches that you appreciate them .. Be responsible, sincere, and approachable. Be organized, and pay attention to detail. Be punctual. Keep your equipment areas, locker rooms and office areas clean

and organized. Help your athletes see the bigger picture. Bring them to theunderstanding that sports and extra curriculars are intendedto enhance their formal education, not replace it.

Understand that your players will only trust what you coach i fthey trust you first
