Maintenance of Traffic• MOT will be required to condense garage
entrance traffic to one lane using the easternmost lane entering the garage during working hours.
• Additional MOT may be required along the northeast side of the garage where the flatbed truck will be staged for unloading.
• MOT will be broken down on a daily basis, if required.

• We are committed to minimal disruptions of airport operations . In order to do this, we plan to utilize the elevated deck near the garage entrance for all staging/installation.
• The crane truck and 125’ boom lift will be unloaded and staged in the “lift and work area”. Approximately 40’ on the northeast side of the building will be used for flatbed delivery and unloading, while the east side near the entrance will be where the 125’ boom lift ,crane truck and light tower will be staged.

Proposed MaterialsPrincipal LED lighting are high quality LED sign components that with stand the harsh conditions of Florida and has held up very well the 8 years we have been using the product.
We only use 5052 strength structural aluminum or steel framing that will not rust since we prep, prime and paint the steel with marine grade primer. We use non corrosive hardware that will not rust in the tough Florida environment.
The plastic we use is Plaskolite, a leading brand of plastics in the sign industry.
Vinyls – we use 3M film products.
Paints – Matthews automotive paint with a 5 step paint process, 1 primer, 2 coats of paint, 2 coats of clear coating protection.

Ease of MaintenanceServiceability: Our team designer will have pre design meetings with Don Bell Sign’sproduction team to make sure we are placing the lighting components in a waterproof area that can be easily accessible to service in the future. Power supplies that power the LED’s are usually the first to go out years down the road and we make sure they are accessible by roof or bucket truck. We build access doors that are flush to the back or return (side) of the sign cabinet with counter sunk screws that won’t be visible from the ground.
Cleaning: we suggest an annual cleaning of the sign by the sign vendor or airport maintenance crew. This consists of light pressure washing with water hose and ivory soap. The idea is similar to washing a car. A light wax is not necessary but it would be good to do if not annually, then at least every two years. This will protect your investment for many more years, similar to a car’s finish.
