world . It fairly exams the balance of forest development and ensures

that the whole process, from the source of pulp to product distribution,

enhances the idea of sustainable forests.

Green Peace is a global environmental protection organization. It

operates the protection project “ Protect forests, Defend Oceans” all

over the world.

■ June 2011: Revealed that the wrappers of global well-known toy

brands, such as Mattel (the manufactory of the

Barbie), Disney, Lego, are made from tropical rain forest

trees, destroying forest ecology.

July 2011: Lego made an announcement that they will ensure all

fiber materials are validated by the FSC.

Company.

Japanese occupation Japanese discovered that the water in

Puli is pure and suitable for making paper.

1965 The Guang Hong Xing Paper Company was established.

1996 The only remaining, the Guang Hong Xing Paper

Company has became tourist factory. It comprehensively

introduces the processes of handmade paper and makes

the paper making culture of Taiwan flourish.
