CBN is the result of a merger between Cubanatie and Graanhandelnatie whohave for more than 100 years an established reputation for the storage and handling of conven-tional cargo in the Port of Antwerp. The acquisition of these two “Naties” gives ADPO a hub on the right bank of the River Scheldt and also a foothold in theconventional cargo handlingand storage in Antwerp. Forest products, steel, paper and non-hazardous chemicals are centrally stored and handled in a rail-connected warehouse of 40.000m2 in main Port Antwerp.

AGS is the abbreviation for Antwerp Global Shipping and is a young and dynamicInternational Freight For-warding Company located in the centre of Antwerp. By integrating AGS in January 2009 we are able to offer a full export- and import forwarding service in extension of our supplychain. ADPO’s newly established SUNSTREAM unit is active in the sector of the sustainableenergy of solar panel pro-jects. Under pressure from the increasing energy costs, we decided to install solar panels on our HQ building and our 7,000m2 warehousein Antwerp. This turned out to be very successful, and inresponse to the demand of different industrial and pri-vate interested parties, we started up the SUNSTREAM business unit. AFC is ADPO’s transport company offering trucking services for tank and box containers for hazardous and non-hazardous cargo. The strength of AFC is that these services are fully integrated in the supply chain of ADPO’s core businesses. This results in a single order entry and demurrage-free operations. AFC offers also transport management services for larger combined volumes where it then acts as a central coordinator in analliance of different hauliers.
