SECTION I
GENERAL
CO 1. PURPOSE.-The purpose of this manual is to serve as aguide in the identification of armored vehicles of the BritishArmy. The material is the best available but may be incom-plete and, in some respects, inaccurate.
N 2. SCOPE.-This manual, containing illustrations with ex-planatory data relative to British armored vehicles, is pub-lished for limited distribution. When illustrations are notgiven, blank spaces have been left so that they may be addedwhen provided. The manual will be used for instruction ofofficers and men in the appearance and general characteristicsof armored vehicles and will be safeguarded as prescribedin AR 380-5.
