Venture Capital

Technology companies and venture capital (VC) share a long history: experienced sources of finance are vital to bringing hi-tech businesses to maturity. VC brings capital, plus operational and industry experience in growth companies. In this way it acts as a bridge between investors seeking high capital growth and innovative companies with high growth potential.

Impact investing

Impact investing has moved into the mainstream, intentionally seeking to generate both financial returns and positive social impact and demonstrating high growth: from $4.3 billion in 2011 to $10.6 billion in 2014, and is expected to increase to $1,000 billion by 2020; about 80% of PE/VC funds seeking “market” returns on impact investments.

Clean/green technologies

Clean tech serves large, rapidly-growing multi-billion dollar markets and is supported by government and society, simultaneously providing a basis for a sustainable economy: in 2025 the global clean tech market is forecast to increase to $5,385 billion from $2,536 billion in 2013.
