This image is shot in black and white to illustrate the texture and tone of the image, the emotion the viewer is enhanced by having a lack of colour as the image feels drained of energy or life, the composition of the image focuses on the perspective of the woman who is playing her instrument and facing the crowd, the image portrays what it feels like to be in this position.

This image captures an ironically pitiful image of the collapse of a building. The colours are very bleak and dark as to show the degradation of the building is shown in the shadows, as the rust can be seen working its way through the sign ‘BEAUTY’,

This image is shot in black and white because of the textures, shapes and lines, the composition of this image uses leading lines to draw the eye to the subjects along them, and to pay attention to the small details as the eye brushes past them.

This image shows the depth of field really well without using a lower f number. It also creates the idea of a far off place chained off from the photographers experience, the birds flying towards the salvation creates a look of disparity and sadness. This image was created using a Nikon f3 and Ilford Hp5

Research Evaluation• Give an overview of how you conducted your research. Discuss

the strengths and weaknesses of each method – Product Research

• The product research allowed me to analyse some of my favourite photographers work and gain some fresh ideas of what I could do.

• Some images do not relate to the project I am doing, so I had to

– Questionnaires• The questionnaires helped to build an idea of what people would like to see from my

work • The people who took the questionnaire might not have the same passion as me for

photography so their opinions and knowledge might be different or lesser than mine.

– Interviews• The interviews allowed me to expand on previous work that I had already done.• People might have had some strange ideas on what to do for my project and it might not have been possible to do

some of them.

Research Evaluation– What sort of a response did you get?

• A mostly positive one, most people had a similar passion for photography as me so it was easy to understand some of peoples points and opinions and put them to use.

– How did you distribute your survey? Give an advantage and a disadvantageUsed classmates and friends to take my survey.• Advantages:
