INTRODUCTIONInventory represents one of the most important assets.
Inventory management about specifying the shape and
percentage of stocked goods. Inventory management is
the scope of the fine lines between carrying costs of
inventory, quality management, etc. Inventory
management keep seeking to acquire and maintain a
proper merchandise assortment while ordering, shipping,
handling, and related costs are kept in check. We had
done some of the inventory examples in our campus. We
were supposed to prepare an assignment on “Chinaware
inventory”
S T O C K S U M M A R YWe should make strict count of inventories of
chinaware’s on weekly basis which is suitable for our
school. Our school is not so big and it is possible to
count on weekly basis. There are not any counting
systems used in our school. When we were counting
there weren’t all chinaware. And also the other
problem, we see is that the storing. Chinaware was
kept there in free space. We found that everything
but it was kept on unorganized manner. Old and New
chinaware were kept together. We have to
differentiate them all which took little bit of more
time.
F I N D I N G
Finding is very important word in any type of
inventory . In this we have to collect all the
glassware, chinaware, cutlery, hollowware, &
linen. An make the inventories list for everyone.
In this we have to find all the things n count it
properly from every wear we have to search
thing make it count. In this we found too things
which is problem and solution.
PROBLEM
At first, we were confused like what to do from where
to start. Whether to put all things together or we
should do separately the counting's. We collected all
the inventories from one room to open space which
means it needs hard work to transfer the plates and
others. Similarly, the prices of different items were
different which also made some difficulties.
Solution From our experience, we should take the inventories
to open room where the space is more & were we
can count easily . The inventory record of old and
new inventories should be different. If we follow the
following, it will helps in doing the inventory.
