• A healthy DIET isn't a magic bullet against cancer, but new research suggests it may help. Two studies just released by the University of California, San Diego, and the Genesis Prevention Center at University Hospital in South Manchester, England, show that a meal plan rich in fruits and veggies and low in starchy carbohydrates may help prevent BREAST CANCER and BREAST CANCER recurrence.
• Only 1 out of 10 breast cancers has a known inherited genetic link.
• Nine out of 10 breast cancer cases can be triggered and/or promoted by unhealthy lifestyle factors and environmental exposures including:
– Obesity
– Lack of exercise
– Smoking
– Alcohol consumption
– Unhealthy chemicals consumed through eating, drinking (many plastic containers used in packaged food and drinks can be harmful)
• Scientists found a strong link
between the intake of high fat
foods during puberty and the
speed at which cancerous cells
develop.
• Teenage girls who gorge on junk food may be at a higher risk of BREAST CANCER, a study claims.
• The increased fat makes them more likely to develop an aggressive form of the disease earlier.
• Scientists, funded by the national cancer institute, found a strong link between the intake of high fat foods during puberty and the speed at which cancerous cells develop.
• Lead researcher Sandra Haslam, of Michigan university, said: “our findings show the culprit is the fat itself rather than weight gain.”
• By taking a few steps we can
prevent Breast Cancer. A
healthy diet not only lowers
breast cancer risks but also
prevents various other
diseases from taking over
you.
• So lets drop the packets of
chips and hold on to our
