Today we are doing good but tomorrow we can do better by selling more Wellness. Importantly, as per “FSSAI”* it is mandatory to take registration if you are selling food product in

India.

This registration Process is very easy and simple with minimum documentation & Oriflame will

support you**

Background

• As per rules of The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI)-

• Person selling/ trading in food products are required to take registration under FSSAI.

• An Oriflame Consultant selling wellness (food products), is required to take registration in their name with FSSAI to operate in their respective states.

Objective

• Being a responsible Company, we are informing our consultants about the rule of FSSAI.

• Timely registration should be taken by the Consultants to sell Oriflame wellness products and be compliant with the FSSAI law.

• Since it is a new process, Oriflame will help, provide necessary guidance and extend best possible support for taking the registration with FSSAI.

If Consultants Apply themselves….

Documents to be submitted with FSSAI

• Fill Form A either online by clicking on http://foodlicensing.fssai.gov.in/index.aspx or physical submission depending on location

• Photo ID and Address Proof - (anyone from Voters ID/Aadhaar Card/ Driving License / Passport/ Ration Card)

• Complete address with : (State, District, Sub-division, Village, Pin Code)

• Mobile Number of Consultant

• Landline number of the Consultant

• Email ID of Consultant

• Passport size Photo – soft copy in jpeg for online and hard copy for submission to dept.

• In case of SPO – Full address of the SPO

• Declaration to be attached

If Consultants take Oriflame support to apply…

Documents to be submitted with Branch:

• Photo ID and address Proof (anyone from Voters ID/ Aadhaar card/ Driving License / Passport/ Ration Card)

• Complete address with: (State, District, Sub-division, Village, Pin Code)

• Mobile Number of Consultant

• Landline number of the Consultant

• Email ID of Consultant

• Passport size Photo – soft copy in jpeg format

• In case of SPO – Full address of the SPO

• Declaration provided by Oriflame at branch itself for the consultant to sign

• Authority Letter provided by Oriflame at branch itself for the consultant to sign

• Signing of filed application (Form A) - Will be done once online application has been uploaded.

Pay Challan fees of Rs500 with the Treasury/ Bank.

Your PD will be deducted by Rs500

Physical submission of Application+

Inspection by FSSAI Officials may happen in 60 Days

else automatic registration

Timelines

All completed documents to be submitted with Oriflame as per below timelines:

• I – 31st May’15

• II – 15th June’15

• III – 30th June’15

We will submit your documents on first cum first serve basis

Last date to get registration from FSSAI is 5th August’15.

• FSSAI is the Food Safety and Standard Authority of India

that regulates manufacture, storage, distribution, sale and

import of articles of food products in India

• Who all are covered under this regulation?

• All food business operators selling or storing all kind of food

items are covered under this regulation

FAQs

• What is the objective of registration?

• The FSSAI wants to ensure that the products are safe and wholesome for human consumption and hence requires registration by people engaged in trading of food items

• Is the registration process online or manual?

• Except West Bengal, Orissa, Jharkhand, Nagaland, registration process is online in all other states followed by a mandatory physical submission

• What are the things that I need to know to be able to answer an FSSA official on their visit to my residence or SPO?

• SPO should refrain from displaying Wellness products in their SPO before receiving the Registration Certificate

• In the event there is any inspection in the SPO or residence of the consultant before issue of certificate for ascertaining whether the premises meet hygiene and safety requirements (Document available at Branch”), the consultant should immediately call the respective Oriflame branch

• On receipt of Registration Certificate, the consultant should display the same in their residence / SPO

• The consultant will be given their Login ID and Password for their records

• Keep checking your email for reverts from FSSAI and inform your branch on same

• What if I sell without having a registration?

• In case consultants are selling wellness without registration

certificate after 05.08.2015, and any FSSA official inspects

their premises or SPO, they may be imposed with monetary

penalty which will depend on volume of their sale and

recurrence of event etc.

• Where can I get the Declaration & Authority Letter?

• All documents available at Branch

• What is the last date of registration?

• The FSSAI has extended the last date to get the registration

to 05.08.2015.

• Can I continue to sell Wellness meanwhile?

• Yes, but we highly recommend that you start the application

process soon so that you can show Application (Form A),

Challan and Acknowledgement copy of application in the

case there is any visit from any FSSA representative

• What if I am just a consumer and not selling wellness,

do I still need to take the registration?

• No, this registration is required for selling and storing the

wellness product.

• Do I need registration for each SPO location?

• Yes, you need a separate registration for each SPO location
