Prior to entering the University of LouisvilleSchool of Dentistry, Dr. Killgore served as anOutward Bound mountaineering instructor inMontana and then worked in dental equipment sales.Dr. Killgore is a member of the Academy of GeneralDentistry, the American Dental Association, the OhioDental Association, the American Academy ofImplant Dentistry, and the American Academy ofCosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Killgore’s passions includedental mission work. He has been a leader ofmission teams to the Dominican Republic, Jamaica,Mexico and Uganda and provides free dental care tothe needy from his practice in Cincinnati.

I want to revisit the fundamental model operating in the global financial markets. TheUnited States has now made a significant public commitment to a financial systembased on “neverland” accounting. The federal finances are non-transparent as amatter of official policy at the same time that ever more resources are centralized anddirected through the federal budget and credit. Furthermore, the federal governmentcan waive corporate transparency in the interest of national “security” while itengineers corporate profits. This means the corporations that run — and even control– the US government operations also enjoy “neverland accounting.”
We have reached the point where stock and bond market prices are politicallydetermined and subsidized with citizens funds – including taxes, savings and pensionfunds. If prices and financial disclosure are more or less meaningless, and the USConstitution and financial management laws are suspended, how do we navigate?How do we save and invest? How do we view the global securities markets?
