Sigma Swimmers off to a great start this season

The month of October has proved to be a great start for the Sigma swimmers in their USA Swimming short course season. Recently Sigma swimmers competed against teams from all over the Metroplex. Sigma sends swimmers of all ages and abil-ities to meets each month. Their goals range from achieving personal best times, to not being disqualifi ed, to just being with their friends.

Sigma’s emphasis on technique and perseverance are paying off. Many Sigma swimmers are excelling in the state arena, the high school arena and at their age group month-ly swim meets.

Sigma gathers swimmers at Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, six days per week. They travel from all over the Metroplex to workout with the team. Swimmers come from Fort Worth, Aledo, Mineral Wells, Weatherford and Burleson.

Sigma is led by Head Coach Andrew Ha who, along with his staff of Selena Stewart, Eric Montez, and Adam Grillo, daily encourages kids to seek the best in themselves.

Sigma swimming currently offers an early after school lesson program and training group, as well as their year round swim program. For more information, visit www.sigmaswim-ming.org.
