LOOKING BACK Over the past 33 years Africa has been on my heart and believing that the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is the answer to the des- perate needs of Africa, I have given my life to serving this magnifi- cent continent. In 1987 I founded the KwaZulu-Natal Missionary and Bible College for the purpose of training pastors and missionar- ies for Africa. Over these 24 years over 300 have now passed through our College and our students are serving in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique, Botswana, Swaziland, Ethiopia, Burundi, Rwanda, Malawi, Tanzania, Kenya, Cameroon even as far as Indonesia and Pakistan. It has been won- derful to see the students coming from all over Africa to be trained at KMBC. DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO During the school holidays I have made missions trips into Africa to make new contacts, see the new churches which are being planted and most recently to assist in the establishing of a new bible college in Lumbumbashi. The D.R.C. was a most amazing experience and we hope for exciting developments in the future especially as we seek to bring a new Bible College into being. MALAWI Down South in the Ngabo district are 2 of our students in the outlying rural areas. What an experience to suddenly arrive out of the bush and see their faces when we arrive, it’s amazing. LOOKING BACK Over the past 33 years Africa has been on my heart and believing

that the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is the answer to the des-

perate needs of Africa, I have given my life to serving this magnifi-

cent continent. In 1987 I founded the KwaZulu-Natal Missionary

and Bible College for the purpose of training pastors and missionar-

ies for Africa.

Over these 24 years over 300 have now passed through our College

and our students are serving in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique, Botswana, Swaziland, Ethiopia,

Burundi, Rwanda, Malawi, Tanzania, Kenya, Cameroon even as far as Indonesia and Pakistan. It has been won-

derful to see the students coming from all over Africa to be trained at KMBC.

DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO During the school holidays I have made missions trips into Africa to make new contacts, see the new

churches which are being planted and most recently to assist in the establishing of a new bible college in

Lumbumbashi. The D.R.C. was a most amazing experience and we hope for exciting developments in the future

especially as we seek to bring a new Bible College into being.

MALAWI Down South in the Ngabo district are 2 of our students in the outlying rural areas. What an experience to

suddenly arrive out of the bush and see their faces when we arrive, it’s amazing. Funds are

being raised for a bore hole and one day to put a building for the school which at the moment

meets under a tree.

MOZAMBIQUE Visiting our past students in ESBUNGABERA area was humbling. From small beginnings we

have now seen 11 new churches planted and regular trips are made to encourage this work.

One will never forget being summoned to the magistrate and being told we should not be there and could face

being arrested only to be rescued hours later by our Missionary!

ZAMBIA In the Musonda area on the outskirts of KITWE a new church is being planted. The area has over 200,000

people with NO churches in the area, 98% are un-employed and the situation is desperate but an active

church in the area, preaching the Gospel and reaching out in love will be a beacon of love and hope.

My dear friends

In a memorable speech which he delivered in Cambridge on 3

December 1857, David Livingstone ended with a ringing chal-

lenge:

“I beg to direct your attention to AFRICA. I know

that in a few years I shall be cut off in that country which is

now open – do not let it be shut again. I go back to Africa to

try to make an open path for commerce and Christianity. Do

you carry on the work which I have begun. I leave it with you.”

CONFERENCES

On these trips Pastors and Leadership conferences are held in Namibia, Malawi and Zam-

bia. We long to train up a generation of servant leaders and Bible teachers for Africa,

ZIMBABWE Besides being the Principal of K.M.B.C., I am the Chairman of I.M.S.A. (Industrial Ministry in Southern

Africa). The vision of this organization is to reach the workers in the workplace for Christ. Once a year we

assist in the Conference where workers come from all over South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana and the

Netherlands. On a weekly basis we have trained workers teaching the Bible in many factories and once a

year we organize a training day for the workers. It is critical work for the Gospel.

NAMIBIA I have been visiting this lovely country for over 20 years now. We have 5 churches in the Ovamboland prov-

ince and every 6 months I will be visiting to encourage them. Together with other denominations and col-

leges I hope to run leadership conferences in the future.

BOOKS

FOR

AFRICA This small ven-

ture was started

out of a deep concern for so many pastors in

Africa who have no resources to assist them in

their ministry. We seek to give a New Bible

Commentary, a New Bible Dictionary and a

Systematic Theology book to men we come into

contact with. Towards the end of the year a

4x4 will be traveling to the Congo with hun-

dreds of books to assist the new Bible College

being formed. This is a small venture at the

moment but one which is so important to the

pastors.

Floyd McClung has said

“the greatest growth, the greatest openness and the greatest moves of God’s spirit are happening in Asia, Africa, Latin America and increas-

ingly in the Middle East.

THE PURPOSE

We need to build our work among

the people we want to reach and

mobilize.

There are 100’s and 1000’s of

teachable, dedicated, emerging

leaders in the nations of Africa

who are crying out for TRAIN-

ING and MENTORING.”

OUR COMMISSION

1. TRAIN up a new generation of preachers and missionaries for Africa. Men

and women who are passionate for the Gospel and who believe the Bible to be the

Word of God. This makes the work at our College of critical importance.

2. MENTOR these pastors and missionaries by regularly visiting them in Africa, living with them and encouraging them in their great work.

3. PLANT NEW CHURCHES which are based on the Bible and not hampered by

tradition, churches which are self-supporting, self governing and self propagating.

4. ARRANGE CONFERENCES to continually be equipping God’s people for the work of Gospel ministry. These have been great blessings to many.

5. PREACHING where invited across Africa believing that when God’s Word is

preached, God’s voice is heard.

Don McClure a missionary into Africa for 50 years wrote:

“I am filled with an undying ambition to do something worthwhile in the

great land of Africa.”

Yours for Africa

Warwick Cole-Edwardes

NOW I am establishing “FOOTPRINTS INTO AFRICA” to which I want to give

the rest of my life to, for the express purpose of ….

SO HOW CAN YOU HELP US?

• PRAY:

This is critical because Jesus said “without me you can do

nothing.” Pray especially for our College, KMBC as we go

into our 25th year next year celebrating God’s goodness to

us, it has been the most amazing and thrilling story.

• HELP FINANCIALLY:

All this takes money. We need to:

⇒ Continue providing tuition and accommodation to our

students who come to us with no financial help at all.

⇒ Continue to be visiting into Africa.

⇒ Help provide a borehole for Malawi.

⇒ Establish the College in the D.R.C..

⇒ Plant a new church in Kitwe and Lumbumbashi

⇒ Keep training pastors for Africa.
