XPERT™ HERITAGE FOOTWEAR IS ENGINEERED USING XPERT IQ™ TECHNOLOGIES
The foot is an extraordinary part of the human body; it is home to 33 joints and over 100 muscles, ligaments and tendons. With 26 bones in each foot, both feet combined account for over a quarter of the bones in the human body. The foot is central to providing mobility, support and balance for the rest of the body.
With many workers spending most of their working day on their feet,often in challenging environments or on uneven terrain, it’s imperative that footwear is designed to provide adequate protection and support to the wearer. The Xpert IQ™ workwear technologies incorporated into our footwear are designed to do exactly that.

The Comfort-X™ philosophy is an integral part of our footwear design and manufacture. From the shaping of the last prior to manufacture to ensure a good fit to specifying quality components in manufacture. We believe little details can make a massive difference to the overall comfort of the product. That’s why we specify all Xpert™ Heritage footwear with our Comfort-X™ Shock Absorbing PU Footbed or our Comfort-X™ Foamed PU footbed which are engineered to distribute the stress of foot impact evenly and keep their shape over time for longer lasting comfort.
As the name suggests, Dry-X™, technologies are designed to keep you dry in wet weather. Although all of our footwear will provide some wet weather resistance, users that are outdoors for long periods of time or are working on wet ground are recommended to wear a product with our Dry-X™ Waterproof and Breathable Membrane. This comes as standard on our Legend (for more info see Page 11).
The entire Light-X™ concept is based on the premise that lighter footwear is more comfortable footwear. Most of the Xpert™ Heritage safety styles use Light-X fibreglass composite toecaps and composite midsoles that are around 30% lighter than their steel equivalents. For more info on the benefits of Light-X technology see Page 13.
Xpert™ Tough-X™ technologies consist of production processes or components that add extreme durability to the footwear. The Trader (for more info see Page 14) and the Chelsea (for more info see Page 16) are constructed using the Tough-X Goodyear Welt. Although, this manufacturing process is expensive, time consuming and requires highly skilled craftsmanship, it is widely recognised as one of the finest shoemaking methods as it provides maximum strength.

About Dry-X™ Waterproof and Breathable Membrane?
The Dry-X™ Waterproof and Breathable Membrane is stitched inside the upper of the boot just behind the leather.
The holes in the membrane are so small that sweat vapour can pass out so the boots are breathable, but a water molecule cannot pass in so your feet will stay dry and comfortable.
