The Morval Foundation gives financial assistance to Christian Scientists, particularly those of senior years, who have a need for financial support. If you think that the Foundation may be able to help you, or a fellow Christian Scientist, an application form is available that may be completed and returned to the Administrator. Each case is treated on individual merit, taking into account both the financial position of the applicant and the Foundation’s available funds. The trustees of the Morval group of charities, including The Ruston Bequest and The New Chickering Fund, and the trustees of The New Beechfield Fund, are very pleased to announce that they have merged their activities into one organisation under one administrative board. This will enhance their ability to be of service to the Christian Science movement.
It is still our primary objective to help senior and deserving Christian Scientists to stay in their own homes, but any Christian Scientist who has financial challenges may feel free to apply for an application form, which is available from the Administrator. Each application will be considered on its own merits. Applicants should normally be in receipt of any state benefits to which they are entitled.
If you know of any dedicated Christian Scientists who may benefit from our help then please encourage them to ask for an application form. Alternatively, if you would like to support this activity, then your donation will always be welcome and may be sent to the Administrator.
