Outer Cape Health Services is a non-profit, federally-qualified community health center with locations in Harwich Port, Wellfleet and Provincetown. Incorporated in 1987, our mission is to provide a full range of primary health care and supportive social services that promote the health and well-being of all who live in or visit the ten outermost towns on Cape Cod, regardless of ability to pay.

Our health centers fill a great need for quality healthcare on the Lower and Outer Cape. We are one of the only medical providers in this area accepting MassHealth patients, and those without insurance coverage can obtain care on a sliding fee schedule. This is especially important for small business owners and middle-to-lower-income patients. We also provide stable employment to nearly 200 residents of the Lower and Outer Cape.

Our fundraising events are attended by nearly 600 supporters each year, the majority of whom are year-round residents and second-homeowners with deep roots on Cape Cod. Our website, outercape.org, has over 87,000 unique visitors each year, with an average of 1,000 per day in the summer months.

BE A CHAMPION FOR OUR COMMUNITYWith your support, we can continue to keep our communities healthy by providing much-needed medical care and supportive services. Federal funding and reimbursements only partially cover our operating expenses. Our fundraising events play an important role in making up the difference.

BE A PART OF THE SOLUTION FOR HEALTHCARE ON THE LOWER & OUTER CAPEFrom Harwich Port to Provincetown, our health centers serve more than 18,000 unique patients year-round, many of whom work locally on Cape Cod. Our Healthy Connections program helps nearly 14,000 Cape residents obtain affordable health insurance coverage each year.
