Students are encouraged to select the courses that are best suited to their abilities, interests and needs.

Teachers will have a conversation with students about the next logical course in the department sequence.

• What HS courses do you need for possible college majors/degrees?

• What is a realistic academic load for you?

• How will you fit in your co-curricular activities?

• Please note that US history is no longer a graduation requirement for US citizens, but is recommended.

• Modern Languages – 2-3 years recommended of the same language.

• Thai citizens must be enrolled in Thai for Native Speakers class, or IB Thai A2; the Thai teachers will indicate the appropriate level of Thai for each student.

• ESL students who are enrolled in EAP Center and/or ELW Language Workshop should consult the teacher for placement next year.

• Math placement is by teacher recommendation. Teachers will inform students of their math course recommendations.

From March 6-18, click on Class Registration

Select your electives and add the numbers to the box. If you wish to take a repeatable course in both semesters, you will need to enter the course number twice.

It is possible a student may not receive an elective course for which they register.

All students are required to select 3 alternate elective courses

Students need to select courses they will be comfortable with if their first choices are not available.

Alternate elective courses will be used only if needed.

If three alternative selections are not made, the administration will assign classes for you.
