Congratulations to the
Carl Albert High School Girls Swim Team for winning Regionals! Take State!
The Soldier Creek Elementary Tigers know what it means to be a “ Heart Hero”. The students jumped rope in activity classes and raised $5,823.41 for the American Heart Association.
Del City High School students enjoyed an early screening of Eddie the Eagle! Go Eagles!
Coach Keith Brown, Del Crest Middle School, will be retiring this year after 42 years of service. Current and former players celebrated his last game (and a win) at Del Crest Middle School.
Congratulations to Jarman Middle School and Soldier Creek Elementary School for winning the Annual Mid-Del Schools Debate.
Congratulations to all of the Mid-Del high school seniors who signed to play college athletics during National Signing Day.
The Monroney Middle School 8th Grade had the opportunity to take a trip to the Oklahoma City National Memorial and they represented the school in an amazing way while honoring and remembering those who perished and were affected on that day.
On January 30, 2016, students participated in the Annual Circle the State With Song Festival for Region K. The choir of over 320 students included students from Carl Albert Middle School, Del City Elementary, Midwest City Elementary, and Tinker Elementary. Great job students and teachers!
Gracie the Tortoise stopped by Pleasant Hill Elementary. The students had a great time listening to Gracie's story and meeting her. Thank you Kerry and Janie Billington for bringing Gracie to Mid-Del!
Our ladies were featured as Rydell High Cheerleaders for the Living Oklahoma show.

We had a great 2016 Botball Tournament in Mid-Del! Thank you to all who participated and volunteered!
Thank you to Representative Scott Inman, House Minority Leader, for spending time with the Del City Elementary Leadership students at the State Capitol.
We are very excited to announce that Lowe’s has awarded Tinker Elementary School a $60,000 grant for new playground equipment! Thank you to Lowe’s for choosing Tinker Elementary to receive your generous grant, and a big thank you to Mike Cotterell, the Tinker PTA President, who applied for the grant! The students are so excited about the new upcoming playground!
Brenda Mechling and Del City High School’s Daybreak performed at the Midwest City Martin Luther King, Jr. Prayer Breakfast at the Reed Center.
Dr. Cobb was featured on KFOR’s Flash Point. He discussed budget cuts and other
education topics.
Midwest City Elementary featured Career Week to introduce the Jet students to a number of different professions.
