plc, announces the launch of the All-New Toyota Vios.

The All-New Toyota Vios offers a class above dynamism and luxury through

leading edge contemporary design, refined interior comfort and a spacious

cabin.

The All-New Vios dynamic exterior design is set to astound buyers - with its

aim to deliver a world class quality that will exceed customers need and

expectation. The class above cabin interior design and space creates a

hospitable feel that both driver and passengers will feel comfortable with.

Product Concept

With the above attributes, the All-New Vios is set to be the most exciting

compact sedan to date.

It is developed based on 4 key pillars, which set the All-New Vios to be a

1. Leading Edge Contemporary Design

The frontal design of the All-New Vios is designed

with only one intent: to leave on-lookers awed by

its amazing sharp and keen look. Spotting a

whole new front bumper and grille design,

complemented with taut hood and wide body

stance, this amazing machine will make any

driver proud.

The piercing chrome radiator grille accent

enfolds into the headlamps to create an

aggressive and wide look.

Equipped with stylish projector headlamps to

enhance the front profile, the All-New Vios

spots a brilliant and stylish look.

The All-New Vios is not just about initiating a

starting impression but also leaving a lasting

desire knowing that the rear is as modish as the

front with a newly adopted 3-D boomerang

designed tail lamps.

To top it off, a newly adopted catamaran roof

design completes the whole design

approach, elevating the sportiness of the All-

New Vios.

2. Class Above Design & Space

The interior of the All-New Vios represents a whole new class of luxurious

design, comfort and space; both from the materials used and the

consistent design traits from the higher-end Toyota models.

The adoption of Japanese stitched design gives the cabin a new touch of

refinement. Coupled with a contemporary tinge of silver and chrome

accents, it enhances the interior with an extra grace.

Intricate details are not compromised

even at the driver’s cockpit. A cylindrical

centre meter cluster, with white

illumination and fine details, create a

sharp and luxurious impression.

Rear passengers are also pampered with

well-thought ergonomics and comfort

which helps to position the All-New Vios a

class above competition. Spotting a flat

floor bed, together with newly adopted

slimmer front seats. This allows the

passengers to enjoy a generous knee &

legroom space.

Travelling or shopping with the All-New

Vios is made easier with its large boot

space of 476 litres (506 litres folded) and

the versatile 60:40 foldable rear seats (can

accommodate up to four 9” golf bags).

Thoughtful improvement to the trunk of

loading height (-21mm) & depth (-13mm)

provides a safer way to load

or unload things without straining one’s back.

Drivers can choose between a sporty all black interior or the luxurious

ivory/black interior according to their lifestyle. Such interior options are not

common among Japanese makers, thus truly making the All-New Vios a

class above.

3. Superior Performance with An Unrivalled Ride Experience

The All-New Vios is equipped with a 1.5L

powerplant, producing 107 bhp and along

with it a 12 sec acceleration within 0-

100km/h, which trails very closely to the

1.6L competition of the same class. Yet its

fuel consumption of 6.5 litres/100km is

more frugal within its class. With its low

CO2 emission, the All – New Vios enjoys a

CEVS rebate of $5,000 from the Singapore government.

The All-New Vios features an enhanced

Electronics Power Steering (EPS) and

Suspension system which is capable of

delivering precise steering performance

and superior stability control of the vehicle.

Grip holding was improved with its chassis

braces to give the driver an unrivalled

driving experience.

The All-New Vios features a 15” front disc

brake & 14” rear disc brakes to enhance

its braking efficiency which promises a

more confident and assuring drive.

The All-New Vios is designed with a range of aerodynamic elements to

improve acceleration and high speed stability. Aero fins which can be

found on the side wing mirrors and tail lamps, create wind vortex to allow

the car to stabilize and refine its maneuverability.

A newly adopted light weight

Catamaran roof design (the

appearance is similar to the

underside of a Catamaran) helps

evoke air flow from the front to rear,

boosting its aerodynamics.

The All-New Vios underwent a remarkable improvement for its Noise &

Vibration performance through its dashboard, carpet & engine silencers.

First seen in the FMC Camry in 2012, the All-New Vios also offer the same

Acoustic Glass in it premium G grade model. This unique 3-layered glass

helps to obstruct exterior wind noise to keep the cabin quieter than usual.

4. High Level of Quality & Safety

The All-New Vios provides excellent active and passive safety features so

driver and passengers can travel with total peace of mind.

Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)

The ABS prevents brakes from locking up during an emergency stop.

Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD)

The EBD supplements the ABS by distributing braking force to all wheels

based on driving conditions.

Brake Assist (BA)

During emergencies, BA applies additional brake pressure to allow shorter

stopping distance while balancing the vehicle.

SRS Airbags

Dual front SRS airbags are fitted to protect occupants from severe frontal

collisions.

Occupant Protection Performance

A driver’s knee brace is located horizontally under

the dashboard, to restraint any physical impact from

frontal collision.

Pedestrian Protection Performance

The frontal structure of the bonnet has been

designed to collapse and absorb the impact of any collision, playing a part

even in the pedestrian’s safety.
