SPECIAL PURPOSE IRONWORKER DIES are made to order and conform in everyrespect to the high quality of our standard dies. Style 129 and Style 241 offsetdies, are manufactured with a minimum wall thickness (slug hole wall to dieoutside diameter) of 1/4“ to ensure the strength of the die.

PLAIN BEVELSMOOTH TOP DIESare non-marring diesdesigned especially foruse in punching structuralshapes such as “I” beams,channels and angle iron.Plain bevel smooth dies arerecommended where thematerial punched is angledor does not have a uniformthickness.

SAWTOOTHTOP DIESperform the same functionas our plain bevel smoothtop dies. Sawtooth dies arerecommended where thereis a tendency for the mate-rial to slip during punching.The serrated top surfacewill grab the material moresecurely and help hold it inplace during the punchingoperation.

Most large structural shapes have astandard angle. All our bevel dies matchthis angle to ensure that the hole will beperpendicular to the outside surface.
