A cross section of the TerraPLEGEL Hi Load

TerraPLEGEL Hi Load is manufactured from

galvanised and prepainted steel sheets that

are 0.9mm thick. After forming, an extra

3 layers of coatings are applied and cured at

250 C. It is also sealed, offers extremely

good colour holding and good resistance

to corrosion.

Manufactured to the highest quality

When you combine the advantages of steel sheets, with the quality

and the appearance of a traditional tiled roof, Redland is the answer.

The main raw materials are sheets of coated steel,

sanded granules and paint. Steel can be recycled an

unlimited number of times without losing its quality.

The forming of the tile step in combination with the stretch pressing technique gives increased strength and stiffness,allowing a greater load bearing capacity to support a person'sweight. Thats not all new developments have followed theoriginal PLEGEL tile with two top quality PVC-free surfacecoating systems called Terra and KCC.

TerraPLEGEL Hi Load is just one example of the range tobe coated with Terra, a PVC-free surface coating. TerraPLEGELHi Load is also sealed and offers extremely good colour holdingas well as good resistance to corrosion. The diagram below,shows a cross-section of the product.

Recycling and quality control

Energy, emissions, waste and packaging are balanced andmeasured at our manufacturing site to quantify ourenvironmental goals. Our waste materials are also sorted forrecycling as much as possible. Our metal sheet products do notemit gas or volatile chemicals. They do not contain anyunhealthy or allergy causing substances.
