HM FACE-OFF FESTIVAL• Valuable opportunity for face-to-face introductions to Branch & Region

• Fun and truly exciting initiative for kids

• Provincial and regional celebration of hockey

• Regionally hosted with HM support at each Regional site

• LTPD Parent Presentations (must attend)

• NCMP Clinics for Coaches (1 coach min per team)

PLAYERS• On-ice festival session with skills & games

• Special on-ice experience; Oh Canada, announcements, music, etc

• Gift package items included from Hockey Manitoba & Manitoba Moose

• Fun, age specific, gift package fillers (tattoos, stickers, colouring pages, etc)

• Entry subsidized by Hockey Manitoba & Hockey Canada

PARENTS• Presentations for new & returning hockey parents

• Guest speakers from Hockey Manitoba

• Appx 25-30 mins in length

• Range of topics covering LTPD, skills, expectations and more

• All receive a hard copy of “Made In Manitoba” Development Guide

• Minimum 1 parent/guardian to attend per player, all are welcome

COACHES• Significant coaching development opportunity

• Keys covering the proper development of Initiation & Novice players

• Range of topics covering LTPD, skills, detection & correction

• Small area games, ice session planning, ice session operations

• All receive a hard copy of “Made In Manitoba” Development Guide

• Minimum (1) Head coach per team, all assistants welcome

• Pre-ice and on-ice support with Hockey Manitoba mentors

REGIONS & MHA’S• Each Region to host events with support of HM

• Multiple regional sites based on size & geography

• Bulk player/team fees invoiced to (Rural) Region or Winnipeg Association

• HM to provide 1-2 event staff & 1-2 on-ice mentors per Host site

• Ice booked & covered by Hockey Manitoba with Region support

• Region to develop additional age-appropriate entertainmentie) Inflatable bouncers, floor hockey, off-ice skills competitions, food vouchers, music, etc

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT• Each Region to name lead operational personnel per Host site

• 1 Event Lead and 1 Coach/Development Lead per Host site

• Lead personnel expenses covered to attend 2016 HM Season Opener

• Mileage, accommodations, meals at seminar, gift item

• Specific HM Face-Off Festival seminar to be held with all Host leads

• Topics; festival objectives, event operations, on-ice operations
