How to participate

Projects must be in the design or construction phase and must be in Puget Sound Energy’s natural gas and/or electric service area to participate. Buildings that are completed and occupied are not eligible.

1. Submit a project application to [email protected]. Projects are eligible for incentives available on the date PSE receives a completed application.

2. PSE will review your project application and request necessary drawings and equipment cut sheets. We will review the drawings and provide you with a proposed incentive.

3. PSE will develop an incentive proposal based on the submittals.

4. Upon proposal acceptance, PSE will send a Conservation Grant Agreement. The grant is valid for up to two years to allow time for construction and efficiency measure installation.

5. Once all installed measures are verified and the incentive amounts are confirmed, PSE will execute payment.

PSE reserves the right to change and modify the program without prior notification. Program specifications valid through 12/31/2015.

To purchase Green Power:

When you choose Green Power for your home or business, you’re supporting clean energy from renewable sources like wind, biogas and sun. The Green Power Program also purchases renewable energy generated by wind, landfill gas and agricultural waste. Visit pse.com/greenpower.

Renewable energy generation and net metering incentives:

Customers that generate their own electricity and are connected to the PSE distribution grid can offset electricity that would otherwise be purchased. Visit pse.com/savingsandenergycenter/renewables.

Custom measures

Considering energy conservation measures not listed on the left? PSE will estimate your energy savings as a potential custom measure. The project development team must provide documentation on the proposed efficiency measure upgrade, a baseline comparison measure, and the installation cost for each. Potential custom measures include: reverse-cycle chillers, commissioning, controls, heat recovery, duct or building air sealing, bi-level corridor lighting/ventilation/heating, elevators, garage CO exhaust ventilation, and more.
