ERYAP GROUP founded in Turkey by its current Chairman KAHRAMAN ERUSLU, started to production journey with different products in the 1960s, since the first day constantly investing in growing industries. As a leading manufacturer of the construction materials since 2001, ERYAP GROUP has been producing polymer based vinyl siding systems for the facade cladding, PVC door and window systems and insulation materials for construction sector providing solutions for the thermal, water, acoustic insulation and fire protection in building, industrial applications in its three factories covering a total surface area of over 150.000m². ERYAP GROUP has established its first factory in Gaziantep to produce polymer based siding under the brand name of AMERICAN SIDING and became the first Company to produce the vinyl siding commercially in Turkey. The company began manufacturing and supplying Extruded Polystyrene(XPS) Termal Insulation Boards under BONUS PAN brand at its second factory in Silivri/Istanbul in 2005. In order to expand the products range and satisfy the increasing customer demands, the Company launched new factory to manufacture waterproofing membranes under BONUS FOCUS Brand in 2007. ERYAP GROUP started to supply the BONUS ETICS/BONUS MANTO termal insulation systems in 2009, as a part of its responsibility for the overall products available to the distributors. Later we started PVC Doors&Windows System in an innovative way under the brand name WINER in 2010, providing a high level quality, comfort and convenience, long useful life, brillant white color. BONUS FOCUS Shingle products designed for roofs with wide range of shapes and colors in year 2010. Finally, ERYAP GROUP has set up the first stonewool production line its thirth factory in Sakarya in 2012 and continued to expand its production capacity by the the second line in 2017 with the extensive experience in the insulation sector.

The products should be stored on clean, dry surface in stacks not exeeding six boxes pilled up and restrained from collapse, store between+5°C and +30°C and keep away from direct sunlight. If stored externally, the products must be kept under cover.

PLASTIC BOX PROFILE

Plastic box profile is used to create effective solution rainscreen ventilation and frame system to provide a structural fastening point and install the panels. The plastic strips are screwed vertically into the wall studs to ensure assembly of siding panels and installed horizontally starter profile in sub-basement level. It has different thickness options based on the thickness of insulation material.

ACCESSORIES

Before the siding itself being installed, a number of accessories should be ready depends on the architecture of building.

1. CHECKING OF BUILDING EXTERIOR

- The cladding operation thoroughly planned and prepared before getting started, it is very important to check the facade to get siding installation.- The starting level of the horizontial siding panels should be determined for all facades and make ready the accessories.- Always use properly the starter strip specified by manufacturer.

BASIC APPLICATION RULES

2. CREATING THE CARRIER FRAME SYSTEM OF THE FACADE USING PLASTIC BOX PROFILES

- Connection to framing systems on the wall by plastic box profile to fasten the siding panels directly to the building.- There must be vertically 60cm between the plastic strips as the stone wool insulation board, in order to prevent the space to cereate a termal bridge.- Always nail in the nail center of siding panels and accessories. DO NOT nail tight, always leave space the nail and nail head to allow for movement when the panel expands and contarcts.- In order to prevent the space between PVC box profiles to create a thermal bridge they should be 60cm wide as stone wool plates.

3. APPLICATION OF JACKETING THE FACADE THERMAL INSULATION BOARDS

- We highly recommend Bonus Stone Wool boards for insulation between plastic box profiles to reduce heat transfer and energy efficiency in building. - The insulation boards must be mounted without any gaps between itself.- Bonus Stone Wool boards should be properly and fully sized and cut, if required.

4. APPLICATION OF MOISTURE BARRIER ON FACADE

American Siding Moisture Barrier designed to allow the material underneath to breathe. It prevents the entry of moisture and this material also provides the transfer water vapor to the outside.

- Moisture barrier should be fixed on the PVC box profiles to ensure that it wraps the entire building with its vapor regulating ability;- Moisture barriers should overlap 10cm at horizontal and vertical joints;- Moisture barrier should be applied horizontally to the structure;- Moisture barrier should wrap the entire surface of the building without any gaps.

5. ASSEMBLING THE AUXILIARY PROFILES TO THE FACADE

- American Siding has in variety of auxiliary profiles. The appropriate accessoeries should be selected and assembled in line with the architectural details of building from the sub-basement to roof.- The drainboard breaks should be prevented at 90 degree joints of jambs with frontal plates and J channel profiles;- The measurements should be calculated by adding the expansion rate for overlaps and decays;- All accessories and siding panels must be locked on the each other vertically, horizontialy accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.

6. COATING THE FACADE WITH PANELS

- American Siding panels should be screwed to the carrier system right through the center of mounting holes;- American Siding panels should lock onto each other perfectly; - Tolerance space should be left from both sides of the American Siding panels at the points that they lock onto the auxiliary panels considering the possible expansion that may result from thermal differences.
