Help the fight!!

It’s summertime, and that means travel. And we want to know where you went and where you worshiped! Bring back a bulletin from whatever church you go to and put the bulletin up on the bulletin board by our building entrance. Please remember to continue to support St. Paul’s this summer! We are now into summer, which usually means fewer folks in regular attendance and a drop in giving. We ask that you be faithful to your church. Support St. Paul’s with your prayers and your giving (the average monthly giving needs to remain steady to meet the Mission Plan). People travel and visit and take time off during the summer months. That’s great. We don’t consciously decide to neglect our commitment to the church. Summer events keep us busy. God loves to see his people enjoying the time off and recreation they need. But don’t go on vacation from Jesus and his people. Keep worshiping and praying wherever you are, keep loving, keep giving. Have you considered Simply Giving? Talk to Karen McMahon for information.

We will be open again in July & August! reJOYce will provide three weeks of summer “camp” for children ages 3-6. Campers do NOT need to be students of reJOYce during the year. For more information about this exciting program please contact the reJOYce office.

In July and August, our school and hallways will be

CONSTRUCTION ZONES!

The carpeting and windows damaged by vandals in the reJOYce preschool will be replaced.

Painting will be done in areas of he education wing.

Many small “summer” maintenance projects will be on-going.

Please be careful as you move about the narthex and the hallways while construction is going on. Parents - please be attentive to the whereabouts of your children.

From the 150th Anniversary Committee— Please note that on July 11th the room in the Study House, previously known as ‘Karla’s Office’ (next to the kitchen), will be cleaned out and reorganized. Part of it will become our ‘Heritage’ room. If you have any items stored in this room they must be removed by July 10th 2016. All items remaining on July 11th will be relocated, discarded or donated to one of our local organizations. Thank you for your help.

When school is out, low-income children lose their access to regular daily school lunches and breakfasts. These meals typically provide at least one-third of the nutrients that a child needs. Because families can’t meet this need, food banks see an increase in requests for emergency food during the summer.

Please consider providing

any of the following:

Healthy Snacks, Boxed Drinks,

Peanut Butter & Jelly, Easy lunch items. All items appreciated!!

When you get groceries, pick up a few extra items for the local food pantries. Place the items you bring on the hutch in the narthex. All items are very much appreciated!
