Introduction The College of Education (COE) designed an employer satisfaction survey in spring 2018 (see Appendix A) that aligned

with standards presented by the Interstate New Teacher Assessment and Support Consortium (InTASC) and the

Council for Educator Preparation (CAEP). The Office of Planning and Assessment (OPA) facilitated the dissemination

of the survey and organized the data to serve meaningful discussion at the COE annual data retreat and within COE

faculty committees.

Methodology The Advanced Program’s Employer Survey was disseminated in summer 2018 to employers of advanced program

completers from 2014-2015 to 2016-2017. Employer email addresses were collected from the Pennsylvania

Department of Education (PDE) databases and COE completer surveys. Respondents were asked to complete a unique

survey entry for all graduates of Bloomsburg University Advanced COE Programs that have gradated within three

years. Of the 20 survey invitations sent, four distinct employers submitted a total of four consenting and completed

responses; yielding a response rate of 20%1. Respondents self-identified employment settings of their employee and

responses were coded as “Administrator”, “Classroom Teacher,” or “Instructional Technologist” (see Table 1).
