Our Performance Systems are on factory-new King Airs. Every now and
then, Hawker Beechcraft or their predecessors have added Raisbeck Engineering FAA-Certified Systems to their King Air factory production line. Typical of these has been our Dual Aft Body Strakes and Nacelle Wing Lockers on the King Air 350. The Wing Lockers are a natural, giving more baggage and cargo space outside the cabin; the Strakes to raise yaw-damp-inop max altitude, and to reduce drag and add ride quality. Other Raisbeck Systems are being reviewed for addition to the factory's production line.
And...King Air new aircraft salesmen offer our systems as optional additions.
Why is this Important to our customers, dealers, and our business? In a word: market acceptance. There is no question that factory acceptance and endorsement has been a major milestone in our market penetration on newer K ing Ai rs. When the Factor y adopts our Performance Systems on their production line, the message carries into the existing fleet.
Why have our systems been so universally accepted in the marketplace? Raisbeck Engineering has dedicated itself for the past 30 years to developing and manufacturing systems which measurably improve the overall productivity of all King Air models. As a result, our company has more working knowledge of the King Air than any other group currently assembled. It was 1963 when the Queen Air was modified into a turboprop, and the rest is history. Beech ownership, leadership, and technical emphasis have been through several cycles since 1982, when we delivered our first Raisbeck-Engineered Performance Improvement System.

The goals of our team have never wavered. I believe that’s why as of this writing, we’re on
62% of all eligible King Air 200s ever built, and on 43% of the factory-new B200GTs. Tens of
millions of flight hours on thousands of King Airs, and not one FAA Airworthiness Directive or FAA-Mandatory Service Bulletin!
For me, a pleasant and rewarding outcome. All of us strive to make our lives meaningful as we live them day-by-day. Raisbeck Engineering has developed products and systems which have introduced fundamental changes to airplanes from the Boeing and Airbus commercial jets to the Cessna and Piper pistons, Sabreliners, Learjets and King Airs over the last 40+ years. Now I can look back from this vantage point and say “It’s been worth the effort." And it still is.

As we begin 2010, we are looking back on an interesting year, one
that has been an emotional and financial strain for many in the industry. On the other hand, we look forward with the ex-perience and wisdom gained from 2009.
It is worthy to note that in 2009 our Dealers sold Raisbeck Performance Systems in sufficient number to gen-erate our third most successful sales year in the company's history. This is a remarkable achievement and all our dealers should feel proud of this accomplishment. After all, it takes a team!
There are three other remarkable points that should be addressed.
First, Raisbeck performance Sys-tems continue to sell across the King Air age spectrum. Upgrades to air-craft even in their early serial number ranges not only con-tinue, but are made in great numbers, when conventional wisdom would indicate otherwise. Our market penetration in these older air-craft continues to grow.
Second, middle-age aircraft con-tinue to be strong buyers of Raisbeck Performance systems. Historically, we see that when owners trade up to new or later model aircraft, they utilize this time to include the Raisbeck Perfor-mance Systems they desire in their overall purchase package, and many wrap the systems into their aircraft fi-nancing as well.

The Raisbeck-patented Ram Air Recovery System maximizes the air to the engine inlet so that your engine retains the same power with ice vanes deployed that you get now with the ice vanes stowed.
Your aircraft retains speed and power as you climb through clouds or inclement weather. With ice vanes stowed, you experience increased power and speed, and you save fuel—all at lower engine temperatures.
Protect against Foreign Object Damage (FOD).
With Raisbeck's EPIC PLATINUM, Raisbeck/Hartzell Quiet Turbofan Propellers or Raisbeck's EPIC GOLD, ice vanes may be deployed at any time—including on the ground, during takeoff, and for landing — when at OATs up to ISA +27o C.
Use of ice vanes on RARS-equipped aircraft on the ground and during takeoff and landing minimizes the risk of foreign object damage. For this reason, the United States Army has equipped its entire C12 fleet with the Raisbeck Ram Air Recovery System.

2010 EPIC Completion IncentivesRaisbeck offers a pricing incentive for customers looking to complete the EPIC Performance Package on their King Air.
EPIC Completion Incentive for 200/B200/B200GT/C90/C90GT/C90GTi
If one or more performance systems is required to complete an EPIC PLATINUM or EPIC GOLD (BB-1509 & subs/BY-1 and subs), the customer will receive a $2,000 reduction from the Customer Price per performance system purchased.
For example, of the aircraft needs the Ram Air Recovery System and Dual Aft Body Strakes to complete an EPIC, the customer would receive a total price reduction of $4,000 from Customer Price.
Crown Wing Lockers are also included when purchasing systems that complete an EPIC.
